"A charming pub with a cozy atmosphere serving delicious home cooked food in the beautiful seaside fishing village of Looe, Cornwall. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. While there are limited vegetarian options and no vegan dishes, the veggie lasagne was highly recommended and surprisingly delicious. The pub offers a great selection of beers and ciders, both on tap and in bottles. Our group enjoyed dishes such as fish pie, steak and ale pie, meat lasagne, and fish and chips, all of which received rave reviews. The dessert selection was small but delightful. We are excited to return for another visit. Please note that due to the building's age, wheelchair accessibility is limited."

we really enjoyed eating. most tables were reserved when we came in, but the staff was very helpful to find a table for 2 for us and to take care of us well. we had the chicken mushroom cake and the lamb hotpot. both were delicious and the portions were good. highly recommended.

This pub in the heart of Looe is fantastic. The food was great and the staff were very knowledgeable, making for a lovely evening. The service, food, and atmosphere all received top ratings. Recommended dishes include the Fish and Chips and Fish Pie. The price per person for dinner falls between £20–30.

what a beautiful place, a real old world inn with very low ceilings and shaky floors, but I loved it. the personal was very friendly and welcoming and the place is immaculate. I had the steak and ale pee that was the best I ever had, and my friends all had the fish cake and all agreed that it was the best. there were many drinks to choose, I was on the more obvious! I will be back, probably in a few years as there are other places to visit in Britain. but if you're in a lure, make sure you come, you won't regret it.

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
