"Our lovely neighbours have just treated us to a carvery dinner in this lovely traditional pub. I am not a fan of carvery, but am delighted to have had my opinion changed. The meat and vegetables were fresh, the beef was to die for! The staff come and get you when it's your tables turn to get your meal, which avoids all the awful queuing and shoving that you get at a chain carvery. Absolutely everything was piping hot and fresh. The staff were wonderful, very accommodating and helpful. And the sticky toffee pudding and custard was absolute perfection, the custard tasted just like my grandad's home made concoction and gave me all the warm fuzzy feelings of a family Sunday roast. The pub is dog friendly, and you can even buy a dog friendly carvery for your furry friend with all proceeds going to the Yorkshire rescue. I will absolutely be coming here again!"

Terrible isn't the word, the portions were small, the beer was off and the wine was grim. The service was dreadful. I would save yourself some time and money and go to Spoons instead.

Great food, friendly place. Carvery was delicious! Very nicely cooked, sweet parsnips. Choc fudge cake was amazing! The idea of the doggy carvery is so cute! The dogs create a warming, family atmosphere.

Stayed with our motorhome. Enjoyed a lovely carvery Sunday lunch and a quiz Sunday evening. Owners and locals were very friendly. Dog friendly too, our dog Enjoyed his doggy carvery on Sunday. A short walk takes you to the river or centre of Otley.

Pub stopover at the Yew Tree in Otley! Excellent food, plenty of space to park on the lower level, will need levellers if in the back car park. Water tap available, friendly staff. Walking distance to a lovely town. Great place to stop. The Yew Tree Inn View menu

Lovely little gem of a pub and fantastic home roast dinner. We regularly return on a Sunday for the carvery and at £9.95 I think it’s great value for money. Wholesome home cooked food and a great way to spend a couple of hours in a dog friendly pub after a Sunday walk, our pup even enjoyed his own carvery. The team at The Yew Tree and super friendly and can’t do enough for you.

Wonderful Sunday Lunch spot for people AND their dogs! The just-roasted meats are accompanied by a fantastic selection of vegetables, trimmings and sauces, and the staff are super-friendly and attentive. Even more excitingly for my dog, they do a Doggy Carvery here! She got her own bowl of meat trimmings and vegetables (and lots of petting). She's now got a firm favourite place for Sunday Lunch!

Not local to the area so first time visiting the Yew Tree. This is one of those places you find that you never forget. The carvery was exceptional and everything was cooked perfectly. Doggy carvery was £1.50 which is an absolute steal. It consisted of different meats (cut up) and veg of your choice. Our desserts were delicious and well presented. Looking forward to returning and trying different ones on the menu. View menu

Staying in Harrogate and looked for a nice country pub for Sunday lunch. Came across the Yew Tree Inn. Wow ! What a lovely pub there was one member of staff running the bar and she was brilliant. The lunch was a carvery ,choice of 3 meats or all of them which for a tiny pub was great. Everything was topped up ,the cauliflower cheese was the best I have tasted at any carvery. Top marks to the chef. A must visit but please book as it gets very busy and lots of people had to be turned away .

I really wanted to love this place, as its very close to my home. I felt the 1 young lad on his own was really doing his best behind the bar. How ever service was super slow we waited an hour and a half to eat. There was no menu for children either. It was freezing cold and stunk of cigarette smoke which only appeared while we were eating. and I found a white/grey dog hair in my pie that also wasn't very warm . A nice place to go for a drink but I certainly wouldn't eat here again. I was very disappointed. We even had to wait a while to pay.. such a shame.

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
