"Stumbled across this restaurant heading back to Mozartplatz. Busy, friendly atmosphere aided by extremely helpful waitress staff. Just love the Bavarian soups with dumplings. The Weiner schnitzel was excellent and the best on our Bavarian Tour. The waitress recommended several German wines which we had not tried before and were excellent. Sit outside if you can and its not raining but does get busy. The menu was not extensive (which is good) but catered for all tastes including vegetarians. Would definitely go back on return to Salzburg."

Ho cenato in questo ristorante tipico con un collega. Wiener Schnitzel e birre, come da tradizione e tutto buono! Lo consiglio e ci tornerei. Il locale si trova in centro, dietro a Mozartplatz.

Il locale è abbastanza ordinario, servizio un po' lento, cucina tipica ma la qualità dei piatti è al di sotto della media, porzioni scarse, prezzi non economici. Menu e servizio anche in italiano, e questo forse spiega il successo tra i nostri connazionali, ma intorno ci sono molti altri posti migliori.

My wife and i have visited the restaurant for a late dinner.The ambience was all there: secluded, away from pedestrian traffic, not loudThe staff waited professionally and was always there to check on us.Food was absolutely delicious. I have discovered Austrian Cheese Dumplings, which I truly feel are not great representation of a dumpling "family" but rather a pancake, a patty of sort. It blew my mind!For main: Veal Schnitzel and Roasted Pork were great as well.The restaurant made my stay in Salzburg that much better.
