"I've visited several Bill's before including this one and I've always been delighted. I didn't think a strawberry in my G&T (as advertised on the drinks menu) and a hot meal were beyond them but they had run out of strawberries (this was 6:30pm on...a Friday and there's a Tesco literally 4 doors down) and our cassoulet was stone cold. We had taken a friend there and had been crowing about how good it was, so it was very disappointing. However they didn't charge us for our main meals so that was, some consolation and I would go back, though warily."

"My husband I had the most perfect date night at Savoy London: dinner at Kaspar’s followed by drinks and dessert at Thames Foyer (while listening to amazing live jazz musicians . It was magical in all aspects: history, beauty, food quality, atmosphere and service. And the music! We split a few dishes, including the Best of the Seas seafood appetizer, lobster bisque, Irish black angus beef fillet and the most amazing dessert (they even wrote my name on it!! : a pastry called Paris-London which has homemade praline and chocolate mousse. Simply unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike. Can’t wait to return! P.S. Our server Rosaria (shout out to Rosaria! even brought the statue of Kaspar the cat to our table for a little while (and told us the legend that goes with it! P.P.S. Extra thanks to the whole staff (Aurelia, Alden, Patrick and Rosaria , they made us feel so welcome!"

"We have been to this restaurant many times over the last 5+ years and no problems, and always have a jacket potato, food reasonable prices and ample. Unfortunately this visit we were very dissatisfied we both opted for jacket potato , which was an average but small potatoe, filling given was small too, and salad small infact for £8 each it was terrible. My husband didn't want salad and was not offered a bit more filling instead which would of been nice the prices have gone up considerably but the portions have gone down. The lady serving was not friendly and we just felt really let down by the customer service. We didn't eat until gone 2 so we thought a bigger portion would of been the case to get rid of the food fresh! Also stopped doing the coffee refills, big mistake as this was a good way of getting people in. The only positive was the young girl serving drinks was very pleasant, the older lady should take a leaf out of her book so to speak. We will no be going back. Annoyed I didn't photo food I usually do"

"I ordered grits with cheese but received plain grits with no cheese or butter, which was very bland. My coffee, requested light and sweet with almond milk and hazelnut, was also incorrect. I was very disappointed with the overall experience, so proceed with caution when ordering from this restaurant."

"Fabulous find for luncheon. We both picked a pizza each, hubby always has pepperoni, was very pleased he had. I had a hot smoked salmon one with rocket, cream cheese dill, it was called a Smokehouse, not to be missed. The staff were very busy catered for us so well. We have two golden retrievers which were highly looked after with their own water bowl brought without being asked their own biscuits brought on a saucer, so thoughtful!! We will be returning next Friday on our way back home…… delightful place!!"

"We booked a table ahead as we had never been here. Never realise we needed to order on line . Waited then asked a runner. Tried 4 times to order food each time got an error code at the end of inputting the order.. Finally got the food order in then needed to order the drinks. Same thing . It was my husband's birthday meal it ended up frustrating the hell out of all of us. If you insist on using an on line platform I wish we were informed before we entered. Also it should be user friendly and work. We won't be back EVER! Much nicer options with personal service in Chesterfield . We came out to celebrate a birthday ended up frustrated and angry . That said the food was good but then why have a restaurant if you operate it like a take away. Great take away food not worth a eat in certainly not for a Birthday celebration which this was."

"Ooty is a gorgeous modern Indian restaurant in Marylebone named after the idyllic hill station in the state of Tamil Nadu, Udhagamandalam Ooty). They have put their foot firmly forward with a fabulous brunch offering with flavours spanning north and south Indian dishes! The restaurant itself is light, modern yet colourful and beautiful nods to the Indian origins throughout. The 4 course brunch is £30 bottomless prosecco is an additional £15 and bottomless soft drinks only £5. The meal starts with a luscious thick curry leaf and ginger buttermilk. Served in short glasses, they were very indulgent and creamy and were a refreshing introduction to the Indian feast to follow. The first course is a warm up to the brunch. This includes: house granola with palm yogurt berry compote jeera croissant raisin and chilli muffin plain scones with jam and cream tubes It’s actually a lot to start with! The granola had a richly toasted nuttiness and was a real favourite. We also tried the jeera cumin) croissant and had a little of the mini scone. We went for a Dosa served with mustard crushed potato and soya mattar pao spiced soya green peas served with Indian bread rolls). Both dishes were exquisite and beautifully presented and made for a fantastic second course. The dosa arrived thin with colourful bowls of dips to accompany it. We loved the soya mattar pao which tasted like mince with a lovely level of spicing. Comprised of North Indian favourites, the tiffin was next. We enjoyed the unveiling at the table in their fun and colourful tiffins. We chose the paneer and spinach tempered with garlic and chilli and the tofu and broccoli stew. The tiffin dishes are all generously served with sides of potato, edamame and sugar pea stir fry, brown onion and caraway seed pulao and a deliciously flaky malabar parotta for mopping up the curries. We thoroughly enjoyed the tofu stew which was so very light and creamy. The paneer was deliciously meaty in texture and great with the rice on the side. Dessert is a choice between fresh fruit and assorted pastires. We opted for one of each. The pastries chocolate and strawberry mini cakes) were incredibly light. They were beautifully decorated with an “Ooty” chocolate disc and the other a fresh strawberry creation. Ooty have really upped the brunch game with this fabulous weekend offering. The presentation was with flair and attention to detail. The highlights for us were the fantastic dosa and the tiffin course which really hit the spot. The dishes are spiced incredibly well without being overpowering and service was on point. There are special touches throughout the meal that lend this particular brunch perfectly to celebrating a special occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ooty for brunch. Be prepare to be well fed and enjoy the journey through sensational flavours!"

"I ordered one meal and one side at this restaurant. I was given a drink and told to park my car. There was no explanation as to why this seems to happen every time I visit. We waited around ten minutes for our food to be brought out to us, even though there were only two cars behind us in the queue that were also told to park. The woman who brought out our food was soaking wet as it was pouring down rain. When I checked the bag, I noticed that the sauces I paid for were missing. When the woman returned with the sauces, I had to go inside to get a straw because one was also missing. The food was only warm, indicating that it may have been sitting out for a while before being brought to us. I question the purpose of having a drive-through if this is the experience. It should be noted that the restaurant did not seem to be short-staffed."

"Visited this place after accidentally leaving it too late to go to any other restaurants as they had all closed, but very glad to have come! We both enjoyed the Scotsman burgers, which was very, very tasty. The chili jam gave it such a great flavour, and the chips were also very good. Also shared a raspberry mojito, which absolutely hit the spot. The atmosphere was that of a beer hall with the bench-tables, which I loved but may not be for everyone. We didn't stay long enough but I can imagine it would be a lovely place to hang and have drinks with friends after a long week. Definitely would visit again!"

"I've been here a few times, with friends and family, but that was the first time alone. it's always so beautiful, but I wasn't there covid the layout changed. I prefer it. there was something waiting, but not really for me, because I only needed a little table. they apologised and were very nice about it, I wasn't disturbed. the personal of beginning very friendly, asked if I had vegan and gluten-free and if I had any allergens. what, I think is great, how not everyone does place. I ordered a Decaf coffee and the buttermilk fried huhn w/slaw and fries. it was very cheap and very tasty. it was a huge piece of shining coated in a very crispy coating (instead of single pieces)Food came fast, no complaining."

"I'm not a coffee drinker, I love the smell, but not especially enjoy the taste. the coffee here is amazing. I visited twice. I ordered a double espresso for the first time and a soy cappuccino visit the second, and both tasted absolutely beautiful and in contrast to each coffee I had ever creamy frit, not bitter at all and a wonderful smooth taste. we'll go to dinner soon, as both visits were quick stops."

"My review on my first visit to the duck westbourne. 1. Food is 4* can improve. We had the tempura prawns which were cooked perfectly,5*. I had the BBQ big boy,3*. What let my dish down, the dry chicken and not so soft corn on...cob. The ribs however were the best I've ever had, juicy, tender goodness that even my partner had to steal from my plate. Price range med-high. Wait time for food shortly after our drinks arrived 2. Cocktails is 3*, please please can you adjust your flavour profiles for your cocktails. Some are good and some are just . For instance the mojito, the mint in there is not just for aesthetics. Should be able to taste. Please bare in mind I know everyone has different preferences but a mojito is a standard cocktail. Wait time for drinks from ordering 15-20 mins. Prices arevage. 3. Service is 2*, now here is were it needs the most improvement. Firstly door person greeted us with a smile and we were greeted again by a waitress with a pleasant manner. Our reserved table was taken up by 2 drinkers who were asked politely to move to the bar. Table was not cleaned down prior to us sitting. We waited for a short time before having our order taken, great so far so good. Drinks then food. After receiving our dishes, not once did anyone come over to ask how they were and if everything is ok. Only when we were finished, someone came over to clear the table and asked if we wanted more drinks. Again no concern on the food. The bill, here is were I have been so disappointed with the service. Waited over 20 mins while staff did other things including chatting to each other before I decided to get up and leave, yes only then did the waitress say have you paid? Well no, I've been waiting for over 20 mins. Oh you should of put your hand up to get my attention.... seriously put my hand up! Wow . Like I'm back in school. If you are going to serve high end food at top tier prices, then the service must be the same. I've had better service at other places where the food was terrible. This place is great. Greatish food with music and you can even have a dance if you wanted. Yes it is a bar/ food vendor but if they wish to keep their high end kitchen staff, the service needs improving. Atmosphere was slightly loud with excellent music playing, great choice of food and drink. Would love to come back and not drive to have an all out night in this venue. Overall score on this occasion 3.5* I look forward to my next visit"

"Limited choices, looked more like leftovers. It was the end of the day but presentation was not good. It was fine once scooped together in the single use, compostable plate for *eating in* really not cool at least regular cutlery was available. The Teriyaki Salmon and salads were good. Lemon ginger tea was made from a pre made syrup like liquid and I really didn't enjoy it. I've had lovely fresh ginger lemon teas, but this was not good. The Berry Good Smoothie was great. The girls in store were sweet and even offered to re make the tea. They were constantly busy and the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. I've had DK home delivered and the quality of the food overall is excellent. However, I have serious issues with the packaging waste. I thought eating in store would alleviate this problem but was very disappointed to be served all food and beverages in disposable, even if compostable, containers. C'mon DK, you can do better. So please do so xx"

I had scallops as main and nabebie had sampi and we had pizzas for lunch the next day. would absolutely recommend to stay here and eat. Fab atmosphere with a beautiful log fire"

"Since the start of 2022 I made the decision to no longer eat meat and become a vegetarian. When I learned that in my local town there was a Vegan Cafe I had to try it. The Cafe is at the back of a shop that is very helpful for all your needs if you 're Vegan/Vegetarian or just fancy using different products to cook with. The staff were really friendly and genuinely interested in why I had decided to make the change. I tried the Breakfast Muffin which had a Bacon alternative in it, I have always found that Bacon is one of the foods they haven 't been able to get quite right. The 'rashers ' that were in this Muffin were excellent. I really enjoyed my Muffin and I tried a Vegan Brownie too, very enjoyable. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will be bringing my wife along next time and sit in and enjoy it. I highly recommend The Vegan Way Cafe, even if you 're not a Vegan/Veggie."

"Came here about a month ago looking for a coffee and something at about 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. It looks very twee from the outside and the cakes do look so scrumptious. The waitress was very French and had limited English the guy in the kitchen assisted. We needed gluten free and fortunately they did a very nice chocolate orange muffin. But that was possibly the only thing I could have eaten apart from a Salad unfortunately. Coffee and tea ok ,nice large cups but not very hot contents. It's nice and bright inside and you are not squashed in at all. Some quirky wallpaper and obje'dart. Wasn't majorly expensive , £8 for 2 drinks and 2 cakes . Parking near might be a problem for most people. Small car park opposite. Good for taking a break from shopping in Roman Road. Just slightly lacking in atmosphere."

"With no water in our village due to an accident and damaged pipeline, cooking at home wasn't so appealing so we headed off to our favourite bar and restaurant, the Corner House. The place was busy and technically full as many people had the same idea, but the staff rallied round to make room for us and despite them being run off their feet, the food and service was still absolutely fantastic. Congratulations to Luke and the rest of the staff, you really pulled it out of the bag... and this is exactly why we go back there time and time again. We couldn't recommend it more, 5 stars every time."
