"We ate at the wonderful Wesley House on two occasions during our stay in Winchcombe this October. We were actually staying at another accommodation in the town but found this place to be far superior in every way, The service was very friendly and efficient, and the food wonderful and great value for money. One of the many reasons we did not eat where we were staying was because the background music was terrible, far too loud and intrusive. Restaurants and bars that feel they really must play background, should ask The Wesley House how it is done. We are members of Pipedown an organisation that reports back on the scourge of background music, and we will make sure that your establishment gets a jolly good write up in our next edition, we will send you a link when the article in published. We will certainly be booking to stay with you on our next visit to Winchcombe."

"I was looking for somewhere to meet up with my children over the festive period. After a short search on Tripadvisor I found the Corner Cupboard. I was the first to arrive and was greeted warmly by the staff. I said a small group of us would be eating and they moved tables to accommodate us. A fine selection of real ales and a well stocked bar. When my children and partners arrived we settled down to great choices on the menu. We were not rushed to choose and soaked in the atmosphere of the place. We had the Liver and Bacon, a ploughman’s, lasagne, fish and chips and ham egg and chips. All well presented and tasty. No complaints! A couple of us went for the dessert menu and were not disappointed by the sticky toffee pudding, a generous portion of light sponge with loads of custard. A good value meal, good drinks choice, lovely attentive staff makes this a definite go to place for anyone looking to eat or drink whilst in the area. I’m looking forward to returning one day."

"Yesterday, my family went to the Pheasant Inn to celebrate my mom's birthday. Despite the large group, our food arrived in less than 40 minutes and everyone enjoyed their meals. We have been coming to the Pheasant for years now for special occasions, as the food is consistently delicious and the staff are always friendly."

"Food is of a consistently high quality, but today it wasn't hot when brought to us, one star lost for that. The amount of ice cream accompaniment on the desserts is a bit stingy for the price not even one scoop. Service is efficient when it comes, but too often there are long gaps when no one shows it took quite a while for us to get mint sauce and horseradish brought to us because no one was around to ask (should have been brought with the meals in the first place! . Room for improvement. Food is very good though. Recommended Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

"Most disgusting food I’ve ever tried in my life! I’m not one to make a fuss and if I don’t like something I usually just grin and bare it but on this occasion I couldn’t. I refused to pay 30+ for 2 roast dinners which were inedible. Mystery meat which concerned me after trying, as well as rock hard cauliflower which was burnt on top! Also boiled cold parsnips and cabbage! An old persons paradise and don’t even get me started on the anaemic roast potatoes and watery gravy "
