"While the location of the restaurant may not be ideal, the atmosphere inside is pleasant. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. I started with the ham salad, which came with rocket, Hollandaise sauce, ham hock, and a boiled egg. The ham was warm, but the egg was cold and seemed to have been pre-cooked and stored in the fridge. For the price of £8, I would have preferred a freshly cooked egg with a soft yolk to complement the ham. For my main course, I ordered the T-bone steak, which surprisingly came with an extra charge for chips. The meat itself was not worth the £28 price tag as it was a thin cut served lukewarm with a cold knob of herb butter that did not melt properly. The steak lacked flavor and I have had more appetizing meals at a lower cost in other establishments. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality and value for money at this restaurant."

Visited for a family celebration. Modern british food served beautifully and tasted amazing. Lovely staff professional and freindly, the best meal out I have had in a long time.

What an incredible place! I came to this restaurant after reading some great reviews a few weeks ago, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The steak I had was perfectly cooked and the best I've had in a long time!

Fantastic 21st Birthday celebrations in a relaxed and comfortable environment. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all. Nothing was too much trouble for the evening staff. We most certainly would recommend this restaurant.

We visited this restaurant as a group of four on April 25th. The food was excellent, as always. All four of us loved all three courses. The quality of the cooking is exceptional. This is likely the best food in the Burton On Trent area, at least the best we have come across.

After reading recent reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant and we were blown away by what an amazing place it is. The ambiance was relaxing, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the meal we ordered was cooked to perfection and delicious. We opted for the Valentines menu, which was of fantastic quality, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried. Overall, everything was flawless and we are already looking forward to returning soon.

Very poor experience. Belly pork starter hardly warm with soft fat, not crispy and certainly, not freshly cooked. Sea Bass very overcooked and dry, along with dried up bacon. Pork loin tasteless and dry, accompanied with 2 small re- heated non crispy roast potatoes.(From the day before? Lamb was likewise very bland and quite fatty. Sharing dish of vegetables seemed to have been micro waved as dish was very hot. We were all hugely disappointed as reviews were generally positive. This was our first visit and have no intention to return. In hindsight, should have registered a complaint. An expensive, bad dining experience. Need to promptly sort these listed issues out Chef /Owners!! A lack of f...
