Due to a technical error (our order didn't make it to the chef and we had to chase it up) we waited for almost an hour. However, when it arrived, the food was great. Possibly the best chips ever and a delicious macaroni cheese.

This was our first time visiting Absurd Bird in Exeter and it certainly won’t be our last. Lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff (don’t know the name of our waiter but he was a delight) . Delicious food and competitive prices. Well worth a visit.

I ordered off Deliveroo tonight. I’ve ordered from other restaurants and the vegan food has been disappointing. But I really enjoyed my tender sticks which were soft and tasty; and my garlic rub fries, delicious spices; and the coleslaw was tasty too.

Lovely welcoming atmosphere as soon as you step inside. Attentive staff and a good choices of mainly chicken dishes. Food was delicious (I had chicken burger) bit too much coleslaw and dressing in the bun itself but overall excellent lunch or dinner choice.

Nice restaurant specialised in chicken and with wide variety of dishes. Space is well designed and cosy. Tends to be quite busy in Mondays since they offer 50% off when you book on line. Service is swift and kind. Salads are small for the price but the prices are decent.
