"I ordered the carbonara and found it to be lacking in flavor, lacking in egg or pecorino cheese. It tasted more like a cream sauce with poorly chopped white onions added. The restaurant was very clean and the service was extremely fast, with our food arriving within 5-10 minutes of ordering. However, I was disappointed with the blandness of the dish and would have preferred a ready-made meal from a supermarket. Unfortunately, neither my partner nor my child enjoyed their food either."

I had the Carbonara, it wasn't the best if I'm honest, the service was a bit hit and miss but in their defence,,, it was busy. Garlic bread was good.

A family run Italian restaurant serving authentic cuisine. We had pizza and pasta. Seemed to be very popular with the locals. Would recommend if you’re in the area.

Came to Alessis with my partner last night. He's a big fan of Italian food so I knew I had to take him here for his first visit to Saltburn. Had a really lovely experience. Staff were very attentive and brilliant. Food was also very tasty! We had lobster ravioli and a carbonara with garlic bread and we really enjoyed it! Lovely evening!

I think a restaurant that's tried so hard to say I'm an Italian restaurant should focus more on the food than the decor of the place. I felt as though I was eating in an Italian verison of fantasy island where the food is made to serve children. If you are looking for an authentic Italian unfortunately this is not the place due to it being unauthentic Italian cooking and bland at best
