"there are places that surprise you for the panorama, the amount of food, for special effects. I'm not looking for this. I always try different places, quiet places where to stay well and get good food. The liar hosteria is the place I like. I suffer from various allergies very serious dried fruit, with its peanut oil, the director of the room reassures me, and put to my attention all the dishes that did not present allergens, describing in detail all their creations. I went home one night at the end of July, entering without knowing what I expected. Now that I know you, I can say that the next time I get in, I know what's gonna wait for me. I look forward to an experience."

"Devo premettere che sono celiaca e per la prima volta da quando ho memoria di mangiare nei ristoranti, invece di farmi arrivare un piatto a parte lo chef ha gentilmente usato la farina senza glutine per tutte le pietanze degli antipasti . Così abbiamo condiviso il pasto senza quelle antipatiche divisioni. Ho ricevuto inattesa premura e particolare attenzione al mio problema Ho poi apprezzato la polenta di merluzzo e verdure, l'alice imbottita ed era molto buono anche il pesce spada, cotto al punto giusto come anche il polipo alla brace! Ma la gentilezza per me vale sempre"

"Locale molto particolare,elegante e romantico, presenta dei tavoli anche sul lago,piatti a base di pesce,ben preparati e saporiti,portate da Gourmet sempre ben presentate,carta dei vini ben assortita,dolci ben preparati, unica pecca riscontra,ma forse sarà stato un cado isolato il mio...il risotto alla pescatora servito era freddo e brodoso,per il resto tutto bene."

"I was on November 20th and I had lunch outside, with a table overlooking the Marina di Corricella, lovely place. Fish menu, some dishes, very simple but well cooked, tablecloth and cloth napkin (at least 3 euros covered are quite justified), friendly service, present and attentive. Prices adapted to the location and quality of food. I hope I can retrace it sooner or later. Recommended. Vegetarian options: Aubergine Parmigiana"

"Very nice ambience. The restaurant is located in an old construction near Baia's port. You eat in the middle of an old courtyard, feeling like you are back in the 1950s. Very good tableware. A bit less comfortable is the entrance, as the place is right on the street, very busy and dangerous on saturday night. Service is good too, just a bit harrassing with waiters explaining every dish with long descriptions one forgets the second lates they finish. That is part of an atmosphere the owner wants to be classy and elegant. The problem is that food is not at the same level. I mean, it is good and fresh, especially raw fish, but preparations are too standard to justify an averagely high price. In a table of 7, we had cold and hot starters including raw seafood and one main dish (paranza fried fish for some and catch of the day for the others), plus 5 desserts and white wine. I believe 310€ are a bit too much for what we had, not really in terms of quantity, but for the quality of the preparations. One example is the cold starter: a dish composed by 5 different starters to be eaten from left to right, from lighter to stronger taste. You start with one single raw sea truffle, go on with a tuna tartare, one single raw baby red shrimp with burrata, raw calamari slices and finally smoked salmon. Good quality and right taste, but nothing new, no special work from the chef, that's food you can find in every good-standard restaurant in the area of Naples. Same with the fish we had: too simple. In my view, simplicity is a positive value in food, but not for a place that wants to construct its own style on a classy and elaborate (and expensive) cuisine concept. Different situation concerning the desserts which I personally didn't try but left my friends with very good sensations. In conclusion, it's worth a try, can be good for a romantic tête-à-tête or a dinner with friends, but don't expect a special experience."
