"We selected this restaurant for our last night in Monopoli and what a celebration and experience of great service, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food it was. All thanks to Pietro and his charming wife who run this place with passion, dedication, attention to details and hard work. A further compliment goes to the ladies in charge of the service from Pia Maria to all others whose name we were unable to get we truly enjoyed your service and meeting you. The restaurant has a very elegant and romantic feel to it and as such may appear expensive. But this is not so, prices are in line with other restaurants in town. We can highly recommend this restaurant. Remember to reserve, otherwise you will end up standing on Via Orazio waiting for a table....."

Excellent, we were extremely well received, outside, at the back of the restaurant, very kind and convenient waitresses and a nice menu with sea specialties. The octopus was delightful as well as the salads and pasta.

We had a nice last dinner in Monopoli at Apluvia, sitting outside watching the people go by. The restaurant is beautiful with vaulted ceilings and looks recently renovated. The food was good but not the best we had had considering it was one of our more expensive, although nothing in particular could actually be faulted. What let down the evening was the service as our waitress seemed to disappear on and off and didn’t seem overly confident. I would like to have been able to rate it a 4.5 but there are no half stars and it wasn’t quite up to scratch to merit a 5…however worth a visit.
