"Unfortunately the choice for decent restaurants is more than limited in Yverdon, but La Pinte is a welcome exception. This place is a rather typical brasserie serving classical dishes that are perfectly prepared. Without reaching star level this is definitely a very serious place using...good and (according to them) mostly local products and delivering consistent quality. Today, we enjoyed perfect burgundy eggs (oeufs en meurette) and excellent scallops in citrus sauce with high quality vegetables (including artichokes hearts). Service is professional and efficient and our only complaint was that the desserts were... too copious ! (but very good). Slightly expensive but worth it, definitely one step above the competition in Yverdon."

"Arrivés vers 19h30 on nous propose de manger en terrasse le cadre y est très agréable. Je remarque une aire de jeux pour les petits à se rappeler au cas où...Nous sommes très bien accueilli le patron nous souhaite la bienvenue c'est un monsieur assez imposant mais qui me fais penser que nous allons bien nous restaurer Je ne suis pas déçu d'abord un amuse bouche très rafraîchissant ensuite je me tourne vers du filet d omble en vinaigrette cela est exquis mon accompagnant lui choisit un carpaccio avec des chanterelles c'est très bien présenté le service suit rapidement la serveuse toujours aux petits soins le vin local convient très bien avec les mets Le plateau de fromages est très appétissant Le dessert suit cette qualité et cette présentation qui fait autant plaisir aux yeux qu'au palais Établissement à recommander chaudement"

"Eating only poultry, several people recommended that I try the chicken burgers at Double R, which is the benchmark for burgers in Yverdon. Quite popular, being that the place is small. You absolutely have to book! First problem, our reservation for 5 people was not recorded. (We had booked a week in advance . The waiter found a solution and moved us to a table where there were already 3 people… let’s move on… 2nd problem, the menu card and a completely torn, greasy and sticky old paper. Honestly, I hoped that the cuisine wasn't up to par... 3rd problem, I order my famous chicken burger which is so recommended and there, the pompom, the waiter tells me that they don't make chicken burgers... that it's the bar next door that does. Whereas the friends I was with came 15 days before and the chicken burger existed. anyway next… So, I ask if there is a salad and the waiter asks me if I want the burger bun with it?! Suggests I put my salad in the burger bun?! I laughed, but I laughed ; So, I told him that a small salad for 6 would go very well and I stole 2 3 fries from my friends ; The story continues with the dessert... on the menu there was a Moelleux au chocolat if I'm not mistaken and well again at the time of ordering he didn't make any, or more and offered other desserts... The only good point for me was the commercial gesture that the waiter made at the end, seeing all the hiccups since the beginning of the evening, offered us the digestive/coffee... And I recommend the little Punch, so good that we had a second one."

"A good kebab compared to what is done these days. The sauces, side dishes and bread were very good. On the other hand, we were stunned by the attitude of an employee towards us. Very disrespectful in the way he acts and communicates. I asked him why he was acting like that. He didn't want to speak and his colleague told us he was tired. It's a real shame, because this behavior did not reflect the image of the establishment. Courage and strength to you all the same! Because it was still good ;"

"Restaurant in the middle of a commercial area which mainly offers Italian cuisine. The prices are not very high, the pizza dough is delicious, but the toppings lack a little originality... just adding fresh mushrooms instead of cans can change the flavors and as a result the pizzas are a little bland. using canned products and it's a shame because the pizzas are cooked over a wood fire which is a very good point. The same thing for the tiramisu which is homemade and advertised with amaretto… very bland! Lack of coffee and amaretto which is non-existent in the dessert. It’s a shame because the staff is friendly and the restaurant is quite well maintained. I would prefer to spend a few francs more to have tasty dishes!"
