"Having lived and worked in Italy for many years, and having traveled around the country for holidays, I can confidently say that Azzurro Ristorante in Arbroath is an outstanding and truly authentic Italian restaurant. We started with delicious focaccia rosemary and tomato and chilli prawns to share, both of which were excellent. Our pasta dishes - the penne all’arrabbiata, risotto with chicken and mushrooms, and king prawn tomato spaghetti - were all expertly cooked and absolutely delicious. The menu caters to all tastes and is very reasonably priced, but most importantly, the food is of exceptional quality. The flavors of the pasta dishes transported us back to our memorable holidays in Roma and Lazio, evoking the wonderful tastes of “la dolce vita in Italia!” I highly recommend supporting this fantastic local restaurant, as I am certain you will love it as much as we do and will become regular patrons, appreciating Roberto’s warm hospitality, his outstanding family-focused food, and the option to bring your own alcohol. Have been there a handful of times since back end of last year. Quality Italian food prepared with passion and authenticity. BYO drinks makes for a satisfying dining experience!

I had a great meal at this restaurant. The prices were reasonable, the music was pleasant, and the restroom was clean. The staff was very friendly and all the meals were freshly made. I highly recommend it!

Spur of the moment visit. This place is excellent. I was in Rome last year and food in this restaurant is as authentic and as tasty as any italian restaurant in Rome. Great food, service and appreciative owner. GREAT THANKS

Me and my wife love Azzurro, it was great to finally get back after lock down. I had the lobster ravioli and it was very nice, but I tried my wife's lasagne and it was fantastic, the sauce was very tasty, the meat was lovey and tender and you could really taste the real tomatoes.
