"Called at 22.20 on Boxing Day evening and asked if I could still enter with my friends. I was rudely told we are about to close, even though on their website says 12am close. Spoke to an extremely rude man who told me don’t bother going as we are closing soon. When I explained I live locally and can walk there in a couple of minutes and asked an we come in for one he continued to to be abrubt and say no don’t bother ‘we have enough regulars’. Steer clear. When pubs in residential areas say this they really cannot complain when business is poor. Please choose one of the other number of pubs in St George’s before entering this unwelcoming pub!"

I was staying nearby and decided to stop in for a drink and a meal. Although they were not serving food at the time, the locals and staff were very friendly.

Chose this lovely local pub again for a drink with my friend. The beer was great and we were able to find a comfortable seat for a drink and chat which is what we went for. Will certainly return.

Me and my partner come for Sunday lunch and it was a beautiful meal. He had the lamb shank which was so tender and great portion! I had the mixed grill which I asked medium rare and it was cooked to perfection! The staff are very friendly also, I definitely recommend this place :

One word. Amazing! Food was on time. Meals were delicious, I had the Ribeye steak. My wife had the Hunters Chicken. We were not dissapointed. It was nice to see all the staff on point. We were informed Chris had left. We were dissapointed but with the outcome of our experience it's not a great loss. Definitely one to re visit guys, will be seeing you all very soon: .

I just wanted to say that the atmosphere at this restaurant is lovely. The food is not too expensive and I would recommend starting with the Prawn in coconut and then trying the steak. The side salad portion was more than enough. The staff was friendly and talkative, and the entertainment was okay. I will definitely be visiting again for a meal. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant evening.

go into the bell and bails probably about once in the month or if the opportunity allowed. it is a friendly, trouble-free, traditional style pub. very friendly renters and bar staff who feel welcome. for entertainment there are karaoke, Sky sports with all main games, good selection to be attached as freehouse, so not bound to a single brewery. for at least 3 4 years and can recommend for a quiet pint or a lively evening.

Seeing some good reviews on TA, decided to try Sunday lunch. How disappointed we were! The beef was really tough and tasteless and watery gravy. Couldn't finish main meal. However, soup and battered prawn starters were reasonable. Didn't bother with desert as we were glad to get out. I did mention this to the owner but he didn't offer any reimbursement. We were the only couple dining and only about 3 other people in the place.

I recently visited a breakfast club and had an excellent experience. The breakfast was delicious and offered great value for money. For £4, I received bacon, sausage, an egg, beans, tomatoes, and toast, along with a mug of tea. For an additional cost, you can add black pudding, hash browns, and mushrooms. The service was quick, and the food was freshly cooked to order. The owner, staff, and landlord were all very friendly. The portions were more than enough to satisfy my appetite. They offer a larger breakfast option that I haven't tried yet, but I might have to accept the challenge one day!

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
