"Stumbled upon Belvedere walking in Holland Park and decided to check it out. What a beautiful restaurant! The staff were knowledgeable not only about the menu, but the whole story of the place. As it turns out, the building dates back to the 17th century and was once a ballroom. The restaurant’s been there for a while, but changed owners recently and has undergone full transformation. New dining rooms are absolutely stunning, an homage to the venue’s history, beautifully lit and full of greenery which creates an organic bond between the outside and inside. I’m interior design aficionado myself, visiting unique venues all over the world and I’m usually quite picky. Here I could not fault a single thing atmosphere-wise. The food looks a bit simple, but ingredients are top notch and the flavours were on point. Highly recommend for a romantic date or special occasion!"

Stunning venue and decor, outstanding food and service. We were looked after by our waiter Alejandro who was superb and a credit to the restaurant. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Finally the beautiful setting of the Belvedere has cooking to match the view. Marco Pierre White has taken it over, spruced it up and installed a competent team in the kitchen. Much improved décor can be seen in the high-ceilinged main room, with beautifu

Our daughter and son in law held their wedding reception here in August. The Belvedere made the day so special. Such a beautiful venue, such pleasant staff and as for the meal… it was delicious! All the guests commented on the fab venue and wonderful food. Special thanks to Valentina who made sure everything was perfect

this is such a pleasant change from the usual cozy little london restaurants that you are used. in a picturesque, medieval art, full of light and space, I went with an office group and loved it. the food was fresh and subtle flavored and the service was perfect. the only thing that was a bit jammed were some of the interiors that seemed somewhat sticky compared to the rest.

kandidat for kitchen night rooms. I was not in the belvedere in 4-5 years. on Thursday at 20 o'clock we were the only diners. service staff was competent. eating left something to wish. I started with the warm duck salad simply enough dee was covered in small, dry pieces in a dressing that could only be described as a cross between the bottle sweet chili sauce or lightly spicy ketchup. soles were cooked nicely, but ruined by a very heavy cream sauce that almost no taste added. beautiful room, beautiful location someone must take over the kitchen and quickly.

You feel like visiting a restaurant in the woods while London is around you. Great location and a beautiful classic restaurant a bit dated although but still giving the good atmosphere. Happily tables are not close to each other. We had a lovely diner well balanced and provided by the right wines. Staff was very friendly. The starter (foie gras pate) was delicious but only one slice of toast (you needed two), and the mains were of the very highest standard; the roast chicken was actually about half a chicken, and the suckling pig was also very generous. The puddings let them down We would certainly go again and there is the bonus of easy parking in the park.

7/10 large service with a large part at haupt (food!). it is a beautiful restaurant that is located in almost midst of the holland park. all employees are very well trained and very good service. I had an appetizer and main dish. all main dishes are very large portion, far too large for dame. I wish the part was half as big. I couldn't order dessert. eating is traditional French and most dishes are tasteful the decor is quite old-fashioned, but beautiful and clean. it seems that for more than 20 years it has not been changed well to go there for business lunch / dinner or for romantic dinner eating: £45-55 per head 10mins to foot from holland park tube station.

visited in 2013! I went to paris for the first time as a student to learn French cuisine in le cordon bleu, and it was during this trip that I, like many other visitors there, experienced the great awakening of the moment at the table that completely changes the relationship to eat. in small moments does not raise my mood like the idea of paris the idea of eating in paris when I went back to india, I found early French caffes and made their irrigated coffee and factory brote, but I always thought I had the same in paris, and that thought me filled with satisfaction. although I was aware that I am not in paris! and then I was in london, discovered Mon...read more

As soon as you step inside you know you’re in for a treat. The location itself, the architecture and interiors are one of a kind. Belvedere is truly a timeless beauty. We celebrated special occasion in the mezzanine area, which was perfect for our group. Felt private, yet not completely isolated with lively buzz from the main dining room seeping through. We couldn’t be happier with the events team that took care of every single detail for us. Sharing menu worked really well and the sommelier picked just the right wines to match it. The only tiny downside: the wait for mains was slightly longer than expected. But then the place was full with other guests on top of our party. All in all highly...
