"Bit disappointed. Even before we got in a sign said Be nice or leave I was a little taken back by this.... a good start. Seamed a little unorganised when waiting to be seated. Was shown seats in middle, wife asked to be seated at the window, waitress was reluctant but had to oblige as it was vacant. Young daughter didn 't want anything on menu so I asked older waitress if they could do her pancakes the responce was no! Thats the menu there 's ways of declining customers requests and being abrupt isn 't good for customer relations. We ordered, apparently the waffles came covered already with sugar (they should leave it for the customer to add plus the maple! Was too sweet for her. My full English was greasy, cheap sausages that were tasteless, thin slices of hogs, luke warm tomatoes. Location was nice and divining area. We ate, paid n left. The above areas need addressing to take the business forward, couple next to us weren 't over impressed with their breakfast. We had to ask for condiments and cutlery as well plus milk for my coffee. Outside there was an extensive list of rules to read on a board... felt like a prison canteen (not that I 've experienced prison dinning! This is feedback not to damage business. We felt that the clients they were aiming at weren 't family, bit frosty to my girls and kids menu wasn 't very varied. We probably won 't visit again which is a shame as location and facility is present."

we were walking the coast path and found this place and what a find it was!!! Amazing lunch, best ploughmans ever!! Fantastic location and lovely staff. Dog friendly, we will definitely be back!!

Visited a few times during stay, had Burgers , lamb koftas, ham egg and chips, all very tasty and a great selection of cakes which we took home for later in the day. Soft drinks a little bit pricey in our opinion but not overly so. Wonderful views.

First time visiting this great bistro . Loved the sign on our way in Be kind or Leave totally agree with this . Covid has turned the general public into impatient, impolite, rude and demanding . Right rant over back to my review . I took my mum here for lunch . It was a lovely atmosphere with stunning views . We both ordered the bubble and squeak , we certainly enjoyed our lunch it was delicious and you can tell they use quality products . The staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back when I’m back visiting in Hayle again . Keep up the great work . View menu

The ham eggs and chips which all tree of us had were excellent, lovely thick English boiled ham and plenty of it. There is a downside to the Bistro however. The clientele is mostly senior and female, their husbands strategically retired to the golf course, shed or here after, the noise levels rival the local geese, not helped by the hard surfaces of the floor to ceiling glass windows, floor and walls. I had noise cancelling ear buds which I deployed, but they don't work. Dine outside if you can or maybe the veranda/conservatory has fewer hard surfaces. The establishment is well named, but not I suspect with the irony that it turns out to have.

Arrived to a rather full car park with absolutely no provision for Blue Badge holders, and lots of 4 x 4's selfishly taking up 2 spaces. On entering a rather dour waitress said sit here. It was a table for 2 next to the entrance and exit right by the service counter. I explained as a hearing aid wearer I needed somewhere quieter. I was told we would have to wait 30 to 40 minutes. She could see that I was struggling to walk (I have severe osteoarthritis in both knees) yet she made no attempt to offer me somewhere to sit whilst we waited. So we left, never to return as it takes nothing to be kind. I don't support businesses that see a disability as a hindrance.
