"the black sheep brewery in masham is worth a visit for several reasons, not least the lands of the yorkshire dales and its picturesque villages with the remains of tour de france bungalow, bikes and all kinds of paraphernalia on our visit decorated today. there is a visitor center with a “baa.r and bistro”, which serves fresh fayre from local products from light bites to main courses) and several black sheep bee on tap and bottled. Baa..r bistro in the visitor center but the highlight must be the brewery tour £6.95 for adult, £5.95 for seniors), which takes about 75 minutes. the tour begins with a sitting conversation about the long brewing history of the family theakston in sharing complex, but our guide made it very entertaining) with video material and rehearsing the best and hops to smell and taste before the tasted part of the tour begins in the boiler room."

This restaurant is always a great spot for dining and enjoying drinks. They also have a cute sheep-themed shop.

Nice ambiance and good food. Impressive that they managed with 3 out of 4 chefs off on the day we visited! Very dog friendly

Staff where so welcoming, let us sit at table early and welcomed us and our dog. Service was quick and food was delicious. Also managed to go to one of the brewery tours as not been running for a year or more due to covid, but was great to be back and very informative and interesting guide. Thanks again, if your reading this and ever this way come and visit as is highly recommend and such good value. Booking advisable. View menu

excellent drinks and eating. good atmosphere, friendly staff and service. many tables and a booking worth when they eat. excellent selection of beer and craftswear. very pleased they have available gluten-free options for drinks and eating. gluten-free drinks are their apple wines on the train or wold top against the grain and daura. overall an excellent experience. they also offer tours and have a shop in front of location very recommended.

What an amazing experience! Our guide, Alan, was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which was evident in his presentation and tour. We made great use of the 3 x 1/3 pint vouchers at the end and tried a variety of beers. The rest of the staff were all very helpful and seemed genuinely happy. Although we didn't eat, the food at the Brewery looked delicious on other tables, so we plan to dine there next time. The experience was great value for money and we will definitely return with the kids (so I can use their vouchers too)!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and decided to give it a try. The bar area was lively but not too noisy, with a great atmosphere. Although the restaurant was full, we were able to sit in the bar area and order food. The service was quick, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, helping us navigate the menu. I will definitely be returning because the experience was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed as it was after 4 o'clock, but the bar staff kindly offered to let us browse and pay in cash if we wanted something, which was a nice touch. View menu

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The food was delicious and there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I ordered the chicken and mushroom pie, which came with chips, peas, and a side of gravy in a separate jug. Everything was served piping hot and was very satisfying. I also enjoyed a couple of halves of Black Sheep beer with my meal. The staff were friendly and the toilets were clean and well-decorated. I wish I could have stayed longer to try more of the Black Sheep beers that were available, but unfortunately we had to leave.

where do I start with this review? what a friendly baptismal people who lead this place! from the charming and welcoming tour guide bronwyn (an approximately 80-year-old veteran of 25 years) to the friendly and helpful youngs behind the bar at the end. They made the experience for us, without it would have been an interesting tour, about the history of the ortes and the brewing process, etc. to learn that it is clear that would be highly recommended for those who like beer, as they are any sorts they want to taste at the end and know the care they have put into this, makes them simply enjoy it more! as 'but only' brewery (they't store to avoid preservatives) they' have also been hammered by...
