"This lovely little pub has a stunning garden. We dropped in on our way back from RHS Harlow Carr just before the kitchen closed at 2 pm on a bank holiday Thursday, and the woman who served us was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was much better than expected for a small, quiet pub. The burger was delicious and my ham and bacon baguette was also very tasty. This pub appears to be a hidden gem for enjoyable dining and drinking in the sunshine."

Really good First time there and staff really attentive..Food was lovely. We sat outside and the play area was great! Spacious and well set out too. Will certainly return when can and would definitely recommend!!

This was a chance discovery. We just needed to stop for a bite on our journey. We were lucky. The food and the service were great. I had a salad which was beautifully presented and delicious. I can't get over the fact that there are so many great pubs that you can just stumble on and find great food. This is one of them.

We decided to enjoy a simple pub meal in the garden on the hottest day of the year. The food quality surpassed our expectations, as the rather basic pub menu didn't do it justice. My chicken caesar salad was the best I've had in years. The service was excellent and the total bill for the four of us was under £50. Well done!
