"Bob's Bake a Shop is next door to the English literature Mecca Shakespeare and Co and the cross pollination between the two is a winning combination. They serve a changing healthy menu that invites you to sit with a book and read. We had a avocado and salmon bagel, as well as a humus and veggie bagel plus beverages that included water and iced coffee. They served salad Japonaise and Thai red curry lentil soup the day we were there. There was a wide choice of beverages and desserts like chocolate muffins, a lemon square and cheesecake sections were beckoning from the glass case. Sitting in the sun eating and reading within view of the Seine and Notre Dame makes for a pretty awesome Parisian lunch experience."

All the menus are in english, if you like that. Multilingual staff. a bit American for my taste. Nothing to fault.

We had the most enormous, generously filled bagels and lox for brunch here and a very good cup of coffee. It's a popular, friendly place but a bit off the beaten track!

Cool place to go for breakfast if you just want to chill. Really good coffee and good quiet environment where most people are working. The food is really good, healthy and fresh but quite pricey. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere so you really need to look twice to find it.

I have now been told by all the "gluten"guides that this was the place to go for a nice meal. I have to admit that what they have looked good. Problem is I can't eat any of it. I was offered the same salad as they have everywhere here. I'm sure it is good food but it's not a gluten option. View menu

We stayed in an AirBnB across the road for a week and Bob's was our go to joint. Great food, great coffee and Gluten Free options. The staff were great and tolerated our murder of the French language before helping us clearly in English every time. Sure the neighbourhood is seedy but so is much of Paris now. Well worth a visit.

It was on my list of places to visit in Paris,as I was craving a deli style bagel, lox, cream cheese sandwich. But it was far from the idea that I had in my mind. The bagel was of average size, poppy seed, but it was not toasted enough. On the bagel besides the cream cheese, there was lox,but the smallest portion I have ever seen on a sandwich that was more than $8.00 us.There was also a little onion, and a ton of shredded lettuce which I immediately pulled off.The bread was fresh, but the sandwich was not was I am used to and not enough product for the money

"the food was super super good!! i had a grilled beef with green lime as starter and it was the best food i have ever eaten in France i have to say!! of course a visit to a Thai restaurant would not be complete without trying their green curry and it was really good as well. i would be going to this restaurant again and trying other menus..a bit on the pricy side but with the fork/ la fourchette discount, it helps to reduce the price a little bit. really that was really a perfect meal i had a fresh coconut drink from the shell itself, a superbly amazing starter, and a very good chicken green curry for the main. If u go in couple, it would be nice to share, as the portion is quite big, and u can order the beef grilled starter, and 2 main dishes to share, and to be eaten with steamed rice, which is the normal way Asians eat at home! the waitresses don't speak english, that was fine for me as i speak a bit of French. even when they don't speak english, i could tell that they are very friendly, and tried to interact with us as much as possible. I am living in France currently and there is some truth when the general says french waitress are some of the worst u can get with their slow service, but this one was definitely different. . Food came quickly and they seem very nice people. I went with a friend as we had a crave for Thai food and after some research from Trip Advisor, we had some options and Im really glad that we chose this (as it has a discount from La Fourchette which was a very good marketingPLUS point for them! it worked for them at least in our case ;) )all in all, U GUYS HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE."

"the gypse restaurant is very attractive by its appearance, well located in a pedestrian street in the city centre of Montreuil the interior is spacious and the sober and neat decoration is the only positive point of this establishment The welcome there is pitiful the pseudo director of the room behaves more like a prison supervisor than as a respectable professional of restoration: he had to learn his profession in Villepinte in the neighborhood of arrivals/ Sir, the customer is not a milk cow, for you a upgrade to know how to live is required. Hospitality is a virtue: meditate well!!!! Chef's cuisine The cloarec is insipid, without soul: a confusing mix of French cuisine badly executed with Italian sauce made by a Breton; in a word a culinary cacophony I must say a culinary cocoon. Empty of sense, good taste and any sensitivity The gold palm of anything comes back to the entrance that mixes stracciatella smoke, small peas, basil strawberries and parmesan!!! associations more than doubtful.... why not add the poutargue and gorgonzola (MDR) it was infamous to such a point that I could not finish my plate Mr. Cloarec the association ARI de Montreuil Same for ricotta ravioli and peanut peanuts honey vinaigrette the products are beautiful qualities but all spoiled by the creative pretention of this chef. We'll believe in the subway Maybe you can be charmed by the BOBO clientele of this very busy neighborhood of superficial and abrupt artifice yet I tell you sincerely: face to an honest gastronomer you have no chance. Your zizi panpan won't do anything: cooking is random and seasoning out of the word if there is a lcuisine of author the yours is Z series I don't tell you bravo by respect especially for all these poor products that you have tonight murdered. To follow the beef fillet was ferret and the cooking supplement requested unrespected, even the fundamentals you do not master them The meat was not rested it was firm and probably badly chosen (a good meat chosen persilute) the dauphines apples and the meat juice were not the worst ones would be tempted to give you a good point if it had not been a uniform food preparation (e.g. There's Picard for this kind of kitchen. In view of the poor culinary demo you have offered us so far we decided to stop the carnage by abstaining from taking desserts. Customers don't trust the appearance what is far away is far from being well This restaurant is a bobo catch with a good gastronomic address to avoid urgently The Xanthos House in the same street surpasses you"
