"at this time to be exactly on 10.05.2016 (see the corresponding report, I was for the first time in izakaya hashimoto (izaya means being hospitable; I was very impressed by what I had on the teller, while I found the small dining room, which was absolutely ugly accessible via a spiral staircase with sixteen stages. nothing has changed, except that the tasteless pseudo-gabelins must have softened from then on a picture that is executed in chalk. four beautiful old furniture (two truhen, a dresser and a small crow surrounded by the cheapest tables and chairs, the latter still very unpleasant. because everyone who has a little sense for aesthetics and living culture, who grabs naked gray, and he wants to stay here as long as necessary. that the home and fine restaurant hathimoto, also in saarbrücken home, such an environment-duldets, I have no understanding. therefore also quickly become a bit more pleasant. In addition to their standard program, the izaya has at some point the time I don't know some ramen suppen which I seem to enjoy great popularity among the guests. Of course I couldn't go by, especially because I had eaten the suppe here in 2016 in best remembrance. so I ordered the suppe miso ramen for eur 14,50 and a saporro beer (0,33l eur 3,50. I then got a kirin ichiban instead of saporro at the same price; as fast as served it was also gifted, but at least in a saporroglas. I wasn't standing up, but the beer sold in Germany (the brewing place was unfortunately not on the label and by kirin düsseldorf just drank. not only the Japanese firm kirin sits in düsseldorf, but around the evermannstraße there is the largest Japanese colony europas; all Japanese ranking companies have settled there and the employees who return to their home after four or five years find everything they have to house (Japanese banks, laundry and cleaning their home, so they do not have to leave their home. during my time of the Lower Rhine I was very glad to go to the Japanese quarter to eat there. the miso ramen soup, a large bowl (new German bowl with dip in a Miso frucht. together with chashu pork in the form of three slices of a spice, a half woken soft boiled egg, swirling, sitang, menma bambus sprouts and soy sprouts; very hot and taste absolutely the hammer. beside the bars there was a small spoon, but I didn't need it; I prefer to do it like the japanese, put the bowl on the mouth and sneak a few small broths away before I deny the solid parts further. I enjoyed the broth very much and do not assume that I would have got it better in the hashimoto house. I was very happy. Conclusion: happy to be back even if the ambiente is so powerful. P.S barrier-free is given only in the ground floor, the self-elevation area, the mini kitchen and the toilet; cyclists and fussicke do not pack it in the feed area due to the fiese spiral staircase."

It's a bit pricey otherwise the food is quite authentic for Japanese food. The portion was rather small though.

Small friendly place tucked away in the Fröschengasse. Sushi was excellent as was the service. I belive they have a big brother restaurant in the city if you want a larger selection of dishes.

It can be viewed as the bar version of the Hashimoto restaurant, but the food is definitely not casual. We went there twice this year and always ordered noodle soups and Donburi (rice dish). The taste is close to the real Japanese food. The only problem is that the portion might be a bit small for people with huge hunger.

Visiting Saarbrucken for the first time, for my son's wedding. The 'Wedding Breakfast' after the ceremony had been booked here. It was delightful, very attentive staff and owners. Choice of sushi, fish or meat dishes, beautifully prepared fresh ingredients. Reasonable prices.Definitely recommended .. in fact we liked it so much we had lunch there again the next day :) View menu

The food was not the only one in this inn for big eyes! I really like to try new places and am constantly looking for new restaurants, but I remain loyal to this place. Decorations on places and throughout the restaurant is reasonable and beautiful. The toilets are always pure and everything in all gives the place a harmonious impression. Locals have a real potential to become my next tribal. Not only the nice local staff was the absolute hit during my visit, but also the good ambience.

"I was already a guest at the Gusto at the Saarbrücker Toto House and very satisfied. For some time now there has been the “Gusto on the market” in the heart of the city, St. Johann’s market. Today we came to five. Originally designed only as an annex to the Gusto on the Saarufer, the small restaurant – as I learned from the owner – is now the main house and the restaurant on the Saarufer is closed. Ambiente The “Gusto” is located on the corner of Fröschengasse Saarstrasse only about 30m from the St. Johanner Markt. The modern stylish furnishings, a mix of American steakhouse and Spanish tapasbar, inspires a warm Mediterranean atmosphere. If you sit directly in the entrance area of the restaurant, you can observe the passing “old city visitors” and the driving in the alleys by space-high sprout windows. The restaurant is friendly and light-flooded, more comfortable and more cozy in the rear part of the “Gusto” you reach through a hose-like passage. 4 star service We were operated by a male service: friendly, attentive and competent. Of course, I asked all sorts of questions about the food, especially the steak, the “failure sign” of the small restaurant. We found that the head of the house also appeared several times at the table, vaccinated and proudly gave information about the origin and preparation of the dishes. Here you take time for the guest; this is what you like. The foods and beverages were very flotted, in between it was always asked if everything was right and if we had any wishes. I like to review the service with 5 stars. Food The steakhouse offers a rich range of tapas and antipasti, salads, salmon gambas exquisite meat rarities, especially proud of the “Dry Aged Beef”; this US Black Angus Steak has to “dry” in a special refrigerator for at least 4 weeks and thus gets its distinctive extraordinary taste. But also the other steaks from Black Angus are not to be despised and so much already look in advance for their equal in Saarbrücken and the surrounding area. My choice was a US Black Angus Steak (vacuum ripened) 300gr for 28,80 € with BBQ Dipp and Bratkartoffeln as well as a small salad at 3,40 € My four companions had tomato chili soup at 4,80 € US Black Angus Steak 300gr for 28,80 € with homemade herbal butter and roast potatoes Gusto Burger with Pommes at 12,80 € All ingredients were of 1a quality, well selected and absolutely fresh. The preparation of the dishes can be called a perfect craftsmanship. My well-hanged (wet aged) Steak was an approx. 5 6cm thick splendor of meat, a true pale man's maus, very finely massaged and wonderfully aromatic, masterfully prepared, sharply roasted on both sides on the lava grill perfectly and accurately spot medium, it was extremely lean, wonderfully juicy and very delicate in the bite. There's nothing to stand out. The homemade BBQ Dipp, not too fiery and not too lazy, the roasted potatoes, well selected small potatoes, cut into columns and roasted with the peel crispy pink. The side salad, mixed with zucchini slices fried in olive oil, olives, radishes, tomatoes, various leaf sores, crunchy fresh and with fresh herbs on top, was refined with a delicious parsley dressing. Conclusion: 100% recommended. Not exactly cheap, but worth every cent. For steak friends in Saarbrücken a must, but also a long way worth it"
