"Well what a shame writing this review as hubby drives us home felt compelled to write this review whilst the experinece is still annoying us! Restuarant only had 2 other couples dining , yet we were neglected by the staff i...wiped the table before our dinner came as it was dirty the staff were unfamiliar with the menu (even though there is very little on it) i found the restaurant manager to order dessert and sat for nearly 20 mins with our main dishes still on the table whilst 2 of the staff stood having a chat- so we moved the dishes oursieves to the next table. The dessert arrived (fudge cake) we were not asked if we wanted it hot or cold and we wrongly assumed it would be warm but it was straight out of the fridge. That couldve been forgiven if the service was good- but it was awful we have never been to a restaurant and not left a tip except for this time it wasnt at all deserved. Although there was a highlight- during the long delays in the lazy service (in the empty restaurant We had the pictures below to entertain us ...... shame i didnt take a pic of the other lovely pictures adorning the walls an elephant with its trunk up the backside of another... mmmm makes me feel like going back there to dine....!!!!"

I was here last night by myself for dinner, I had a shrimp tempura roll, and the sizzling garlic shrimp entrée.

We had an excellent meal, both had starters only. Food was good and service was excellent. Although described as Italian the menu is comprehensive and not limited to just Italian. The restaurant is located within the Village Hotel and has plenty of free parking. View menu

I even after work for a quick bite to eat. chose one of the healthy options warm spinat and grilled chicken my 1. Observe it looked quite small, lacked extra spinat and salat, but I ordered a side order of sweet potato...Fries (less healthy) very tasty, the dish was delicious and was the perfect amount of eating with the added frits. I think it's a bit above the price at £18, so I think it should contain a next order or £15, but all the staff was helpful and even though it took a little time to get was worth waiting. I was before and would go back.

we visited a car today and were very impressed, despite a mistake discovered on my part with the date after we had begun to eat) the personal was so polite and courteous and eating was all nicely cooked. good selection of appetizers, patè...especially was delicious, well cooked meat with a good selection of veg served by a friendly, cheerful chef. again was a good choice of whispering and my son thrilled with the ice and his selection of hits, the waiter and waiter were so attentive and polite and we cannot wait to return. in any case worth a visit. many thanks for a beautiful meal from beginning to end.

We were staying at the hotel that Buca di Beppo is attached to and having eaten here before decided to go again! I’m so pleased that we did. The service was outstanding and the food well all I can say is wow! I had the...red pepper and tomato soup and it was so good. Definitely homemade and made very well it was too. For mains I had fillet steak with sweet potato fries. We also had greens and bacon and garlic mushrooms as side dishes. My steak was cooked perfectly and was just the right size. The garlic mushrooms we absolutely delicious and would definitely recommend them! All in all a very enjoyable evening and we will 100% be back!!! View menu

we were at the village hotel and decided to eat in their restaurant in the first night. there was a selection of a set menu or a la carte and we chose this one. Although it is advertised as an Italian restaurant, this is not in the menu that is really international, do not serve many italian teryaki lachs, piri piri huhn, bbq pork etc. but there were some pasta dishes. to begin, we chose chicken linlipops (delicious) and fritto misto (good, but some elements were too scattered). then followed a syrup steak (perfect cooked) and chicken-carbonara (unusual, but pleasant). from the rather limited weinlist (which was also not very Italian) we found a beautiful rioja at a reasonable price. our Aus...

decided to have a break from cooking on Sunday, so decided to go here. we booked for 3.45. at no point we were told that this was the end of the carvery service. the restaurant was not busy, and yet I had to. looking for a waitress to order drinks. the starter area was exhausted to say the least, but the actual carvery was not bad. bark meat, truthahn and ham, much veg, yorkshire pudding, pork in cover, filling, brat and kartoffel and gravy, all well cooked. we then went to our pudding who were almost unexistent apart from some obstsalat and wail, who saw as if they were the most of the afternoon. I had diners seen on another table that was offered apple crumbs and custard, so I went back on...

"We had the pork belly for starter and wow it melted in your mouth. It was coated in a beautiful sweet sauce and the crackling the lovely and crispy also the apple slaw that came with it was the perfect balance. For main we had the 10z black Angus on the steak stone and I’ve never tasted anything like it it was delicious, as soon as the steak hit my tongue it melted away. It was seasoned beautifully and wasn’t chewy at all every bite was so easy. It was so soft and buttery that you could’ve cut it with a spoon. I highly recommend! We also had some sides, chips, cauliflower cheese, onion rings amd creamed chorizo cabbage and leek, and all of these were delicious the creamed chorizo cabbage and leek was amazing and highly recommend along with the onion rings they was crispy and sweet! Finally we had dessert, my partner had the chocolate mousse garden pot and he thoroughly enjoyed it and I had the stick toffee pudding that I asked to have with custard and even though it wasn’t on the menu the waiter went out of his way to get it for me for my dessert, also it was our birthdays and the waiter and waiters came out with our dessert with candles in them and light up tambourines singing happy birthday to us! Highly recommend this restaurant environment was perfect food was beyond compare! The staff were so lovely and paid so much attention and care for their guests."
