Instead, upon arrival, the much more limited bar food menu printed on a single plain A4 piece of paper (also uploaded with this review was handed to me. The downgraded menu was not what had been expected and the more limited options actually on offer were a disappointment. I understand that the Burcott Inn has just had a change of management in the last 2-3 months so they may still be getting themselves sorted. Unfortunately, although the Burcott Inn seems a decent watering hole, I felt I had been lured there under false menu pretences ..."

The charming pub offers great beer and service. The garden has beautiful views. The meal consisted of well-cooked traditional pub food.

We are so lucky to have this pub as our local. Excellent cider, food and staff. The beef burger is one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The pub has a lovely beer garden and a fantastic atmosphere.

Staying in the area and this was the nearest pub so dropped in for a pint. Good welcome from the landlord when we came in. Equally good welcome from the pub dog who came and sat with us in the beer garden. Will definitely come back while we're here.

We enjoyed a delightful meal with generous portion sizes at this restaurant. The food arrived promptly and was served piping hot. The service was excellent, and we also enjoyed the local ciders and beers. Barry, the friendly and well-behaved pub dog, added to the welcoming atmosphere.

The menu at this restaurant is much worse in person compared to what is advertised online. The food is just basic pub fare. My steak was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The homemade chips were poorly made, as they still had black bits on them. I am a local and I will not be returning to this restaurant.
