Great little place. Nice chill ambiance. Well looked after by the staff. The food it very well made and presented. Super tasty authentic dishes. Yes its small and quirky but it is well worth it, something different!!! Visited Hastings for one day and feel i...ate the best part of it.

Excellent Moroccan food Our evening meal was fantastic we really enjoyed the Tagine and Kofta. Such a pleasure to discover and eat in a restaurant that serves, high quality Moroccan food in a quirky and interesting setting. All staff were very pleasant and welcoming. It’s a small restaurant in two parts. We liked the narrow part as you walk in reminded us of unassuming places in Morocco. They have a limited menu which is good since everything can be cooked fresh. We had a good meal, although the...lamb tagine could have done with more spice, and we were pleased about bringing your own wine. Beware cash only!

The menu in here is limited, but what they do, they do so well. My lamb tagine was a delight. Staff were happy for us to bring spoons for pudding. Our waitress was a real delight to chat with. Very engaging to hear about...her life. To top it off, there was a typical Hastings parade outside between main and pudding, so we went to watch outside. A really great evening.

As quirky and interesting as photos suggest. Food was divine! Not a wide menu but what we had was heavenly, lamb tagine full of tender lean meat, lamb kebab starter was more of a patty but had really great flavours. Dessert was out of this...word, a kind is baklava that defies description. Take your own beer/wine. Charged corkage and only per head for three courses. Can’t wait to go again

Absolutely great! Great food, atmosphere drinks! It was my first time here whilst on holiday in the local area and we booked this restaurant for our first night. Now let me tell you...this did not disappoint. As a family we opted for starters, mains...(obviously) and even pushed the boat out for a traditional Moroccan dessert. Not only was the service quick and reliable but the food was so so so delicious and tasted truly authentic. If in the local area most definitely be sure to pop in and stuff your face!!

Tiny bring your own restaurant with only about covers maximum, so you probably need to book. But it's well worth it. Around starters and mains to choose from, served with a spicy aromatic rice or couscous. courses is and it's cash...only. It's a doors from the electric cinema so good to go to before a film night. Especially enjoyed the pistachio and feta pudding which we had to have as a takeaway to eat the next day as the course filled us to the brim. It's quality food and very hospitable service. Cafe Maroc is situated on the High Street in Old Hastings town. It was a few doors down from where we were staying and we noticed that they were offering takeaway. Lucky for us, we decided to book and eat in. It is a lovely...small restaurant and the menu consisted of a selection of starters, a mezze and a selection of tagines. We ordered a chicken and spinach tagine, a vegetarian tagine, a lamb and apricot tagine and beef kefta meatballs. All were delicious and came with either rice or couscous. This is truly a hidden gem so close to sea front on one of the side roads. As soon as we stepped in we could feel a homey hospitable welcoming by the chef and waitress. This looks like a shop so they have got lots...of Moroccan goods on for sale and a couple of tables for eating. We were received so well. For starters we had the mezze platter which was so flavourful with a range of prawn harissa, goats cheese, vegetable, hummus and kebab. We had chicken and spinach tagine, kafta with lentils and fish tagine. Now this is where the BIG surprise is the food was FULL of flavour unlike other Moroccan food which is so bland and boring.
