"I had an amazing experience with the customer service at this restaurant! There was a mix-up with my burger order, but the staff quickly sorted it out and brought me the correct one. The manager even came over to apologize and let me know it would just take a few minutes. Our waitress was also fantastic. The burger itself was delicious, and with my UNiDAYS 50% discount, the manager took an additional £5 off. I've never encountered such excellent customer service in England (I'm an American student studying here), and I was truly impressed. Thank you, Cafe Rouge!"

Cafe Rouge is a typical casual eatery where you can just pop in for a meal. I have dined at multiple locations in Manchester over the years.

Lovely breakfast, but on visiting the Gents I nearly took the skin off my hands...the water temperature was excessively hot, someone is going to get...

I had a wonderful and peaceful Easter Sunday meal at this restaurant. It was the quietest I have ever seen the orient. However, because it was not very busy, there was only one waiter and one bartender, so the service was a bit slow.

while. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, I tried the steak frites and it was cooked perfectly. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I love Cafe Rouge, it's romantic, affordable with great food and wine...the best place to eat at the Trafford Centre by far...after an exhausting night shopping what more perfect a way to finish than with a good glass of red wine and a sharing platter for two with olives, pate, bread etc. View menu

Cafe Rouge is a beautiful place right in the centre of town, overlooking Manchester. The staff are warm and friendly on arrival. The decor is very sophisticated and modern, but still has an element of France. The bathroom is spacious and bright and you can clearly see it is very clean. The food is also very delicious.

I really enjoy Café Rouge at the Metford Centre. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it’s a cozy spot to unwind. The prices are very reasonable, and they offer a wide variety of hot and cold snacks, along with a great selection of meals. You can find everything from steaks to fish dishes and more. The drinks are also reasonably priced, with plenty of lagers, beers, and wines to choose from. After a long day of shopping, it’s lovely to relax here, take a load off, and people-watch.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
