eating, real Italian products, fast and friendly service. very varied menu. the food was fresh and light. we loved it! Definitiw come back to try the rest of the menu.

Amazing food experience...precisely constructed, classic Italian flavours and with a deep respect for quality...fresh ravioli, intricately crusted lamb cutlets, great wine and made with love. Not to be attempted when in a rush....

Meagre. The food that came was delicious but the lasagne portion was TINY (it seriously should have been at least twice the size) and cost an unfathomable £12. Our astonished complaints fell on deaf ears (would it have ruined them to bring us a little bit more we won't go back.

they slave the worker. there they were and have applied for a job as a cook and they offered me 35 pounds for an 8.5 hours layer, it works somewhere at 4.2 pounds per hour. they pay the kitchen porter £3 per hour. if they ever wonder why the service is not so big because the people there do not have that many reasons to be happy or at least satisfied with the work

i had lunch here today and unfortunately found the whole experience fairly unpleasant frustrating. the service was painfully slow the guy was completely unattentive to his customers. the food was fine tasty enough, but definitely not worth the price. i would not recommend eating here unfortunately, nor would i return, especially when there are so many other great spots in Brixton. oh and it's cash only.

disappointed. had been here several times and had really delicious food, which just justified the high prices, so my partner parents brought here on Saturday night. two of us ordered a goat cheese and a beetroot salad that was a real disappointment, it had not some of the most important ingredients in the menu and was 90% salat leaves, so it was very badly worth money. the other two meal times were good and the chef gave us a coffee when we brought our disappointment to the salads, but that was not on the £11,90 per salate we had spent, and the embarrassment that we have brought parents here and have a negative experience. will not go back.

I think it is important to remember the owners of this place that their restaurant is in a market, but covered cold if they are not able to get a table. the menu is not cheap when considering that they need to go to a public toilet 20p if the needs need, maybe they should keep their prices lower. external heating? that could help. but above all a more realistic feeling where they are what they can offer is necessary. the food was nice enough, but after they sat in a cold street for an hour, before everything they eat comes long for a good, honest, tasty, hotter food. what they get is much too poncey not enough to make regarding the amount in a corridor in...more

Disappointing. We tried this restaurant with an Italian friend and were promised a tasty pasta dish as described in the menu and by our Italian advisor. Friend. The dish served was extremely disappointing , totally lacking in taste and comprising of pasta and wilted spinach leaves and lots of oil. The dish was not as described in the menu and at £13.95,was totally over priced. According to the Italian in the party the pasta it's self was well cooked , however that was just the texture , it really set a new standard for bland. This was our first visit to Brixton and admittedly, we were lucky to get a table at all in this cafe, and what a pleasant surprise. They are of the ‘we will find you a seat, leave it with us’ school of thought and on a busy Saturday, they squeezed us into a tiny space but quickly moved us onto a roomier table when one became available. They blinked twice when I said I didn’t want the bagel under my Eggs Benedict was I sure? but then, with a Southern European shrug, their body language suggested the crazy woman could have what the crazy woman wanted. And delicious it was. My husband and son were very happy with their meals too, so from our seats looking onto a neighbouring shop lush with heal...
