"Being away from home can be challenging, especially when you're in a country where finding good Indian food is a struggle! Luckily, I discovered Chakoo while studying in Glasgow, and trust me, this place serves incredibly delicious Indian cuisine. It's not too sweet or too bland; they strike the perfect balance of flavors. My favorites are the mutton curry and dal makhani, which I love to enjoy with their freshly baked naan bread. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey for the portion sizes. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere make for a wonderful dining experience!"

Absolutely worth the try. I really enjoyed it as everything was almost perfect from the moment I was seated. Good selection of Indian starters and dishes. Very fast and professional service. I really loved the meat Samosa. Portions are small though.

Nice food. Great ambience. Chicken pakora is delicious! Definitely order it. Even the other things were good. This Indian food has recently arrived in Glasgow (and in the UK as a whole). Check the bill in my photos on the review to see other things ordered.

I arrived just in time for a train ride and was pleasantly surprised by the quick and friendly service, as well as the delicious food. I made it in just before the dinner rush, but the hardworking and welcoming staff completely won me over. While the portion sizes are small, typical of tapas-style dining, the overall bill was very reasonable.

What a great culinary experience! The staff was friendly, efficient and felt welcome even though we were walkable customers during a busy time. Food was great and came fast. Beautiful ambience and clean bathrooms. Appropriate prices too. Would come back. Only negatives: they had none of the Indian salads available. Would have been nice to try the pineapple and rocket leaves!

Also here in the West End Restaurant. The food is not disappointed. The same applies to the beverage menu. The wines red/white very good. The service was very good again. Meals speak for themselves, as nothing remains on the plate. Location We counted at least 50 people came after us, some booked, but also on foot. Great flavors for our meals. Lemons, fish pakora, chicken pakora, Korma Curry, naan, and 2 we forgot the names.. View menu

sport a beautiful classic iranic caffe in the interior served in small portions (tapas). Eat served on time delicious portions. would recommend that the kerala fish curry try to taste like home prepared and garlic naans were soft fresh. only -ve point is the gulab jamun, which was served as a sugar-coated donut with the sugar syrup separately, in contrast to the traditional. if they are looking for a good Indian food in glasgow, chaakoo bombay definitiw would recommend
