"Max Mariola, the Roman chef recommended this restaurant in his BBC article. I came here specifically to try the carbonara and I was not disappointed. Traditional recipe and it does taste different from all other carbonaras that I've tried. For the Asians that love their pork lard, you'll be delighted to know the bacon in the carbonara is made very similar, crispy and crunchy! Mussels are big and fresh. The house wine is great too. Staff and lady boss very friendly and attentive. Best of all, very reasonable price. Such great value for a hearty and good Italian meal."
