The ribs were absolutely terrible. They were large, chewy, and I couldn't even tell what animal they came from. They used to be the best ribs ever, but now they are just disgusting.

Lovely staff, amazing food. Definitely worth the money and quick service! Overall great. We was staying at the Brigg marina lodges and it is definitely worth getting food here me and my girlfriend have no complaints at all. Within walking distance as-well absolutely fantastic! Macca

Unfortunately we would not return. We waited over an hour from ordering for our first course to arrive. Then the same again for the second. We talked about going home when our main course finally arrived with one of the dishes missing . The service was appalling , the reason given busy with takeaways.

The beef in oyster sauce was disappointing as the beef seemed to be boiled instead of freshly cut and fried, unlike the chicken in a basket. It was confusing to label it as fried chicken beef and then just boil it. Additionally, with the 10% increase in prices for poorer quality food, we will not be coming back.

We had a takeaway from China Royal tonight, the service was fantastic and the food was gorgeous. Having just come out of hospital , my mum stated “it was a fantastic treat ! “ . We had beef in ginger with spring onion and duck in plum sauce and prawn toast . 10/10 on quality and taste .Would highly recommend to anyone .

Every time we come to Humberside, it is a must to visit this place. Yesterday we asked the waitress to choose the main dish for us (super fun) because we almost always order the same thing. She surprised us with a delicious duck with pineapple. There is always a lovely atmosphere for any occasion, they never make you wait and they are always attentive.

Had a wonderful night at China royal with a group of 7 friends. We was welcomed by a friendly member of staff and seated. Our drinks order was promptly taken, we were left to decide on our food. Most of us opted for starters they looked amazing, food was hot and tasted delicious, we all looked forward to our mains dishes. Next came out our mains, Food was delicious and very plentiful, portion sizes were very good value for money, we was all very impressed, it was all delightful, everyone enjoyed their meals. The owner even came out and spoke to us, he was lovely. We all highly recommend this place, won’t be long till we visit again, 10/10 for us! Thankyou

What has happened to this place, we have used this takeaway for over 10 years, granted not weekly and we have not had one for a long time, but this would be always our go to Chinese Takeaway. Never again, now Greasy, Heavy and poor quality. Tonight’s spare ribs were more fat than meat and left pools of oil on the late, even our dog walked away. We paid over £60 for food for a TV family night in that has left us all over thirsty and bloated and uncomfortable. In hind sight we should have returned the food for a refund but once dished up persevering thing it will get better, 70% went in the bin. We had a meal at this excellent Chinese restaurant with friends last night, it was our first visit but it certainly won’t be our last! We had pre-booked a table thank goodness, as it was very busy all evening with no spare tables that I could see. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our table immediately, where we enjoyed ore dinner drinks while we read the menu. We decided to have the set meal for five people, which included a starter of pork spare ribs, and wontons. The spare ribs were huge, the biggest we’d ever had, and more importantly, they were delicious!
