The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is very friendly. We had sushi as a starter and then had two main courses. We really enjoyed the food and will go back. The food at Cocoon was excellent. Starter baked shrimp, main course sushi and beef rolls, also baked. Dessert is this mochi ice cream. If it takes longer, I have the feeling that the food is served too cold, but that doesn't matter with sushi. Service was very friendly, drinks didn't always come quickly enough. We have often been to the Coccon at the train station and have always been very impressed. The new Coccon at the Brose Arena is getting worse from time to time. Service friendly but orders take a long time. Sushi was very bad because the crunchy rolls were dripping with fat and the salmon was unfortunately not cooked through. You really couldn't eat it. The food came quickly, but unfortunately for the absolutely outrageous price it was a complete disgrace. I paid over €60 for 4 rolls!! Where I was otherwise enthusiastic about the food, I was very disappointed the last few times and especially today. The rice in the curry tasted like it had been cooked too long, the CrunchyRolls were so greasy that half the plate was swimming in fat and you had nothing but a taste of fat in your mouth. The last few times the taste has already diminished, unlike when the Cocoon was still at the train station. The service was ok, the waitresses were friendly but everything took a long time (drinks around 20 minutes). At least we got a discount because of the unconvincing food. Landed very spontaneously or unexpectedly in the Cocoon this afternoon. The capacity in the restaurant was very manageable and I was probably very welcome as a short-term guest. I was greeted very warmly by the service and absolutely courteous. I was kindly offered a fine table at the large window front with a view of the Altenburg and the old town.
