"The coffee and egg sandwich with side salad were delicious. The panini was also excellent. The service was good, with lovely and welcoming staff. The cakes looked very appetizing."

Rather clumsy service from the blonde waitress, my feeling is she had rather too much to drink the night before. Not impressed. I don't appreciate this kind of thing when I visit this town!

What an amazing cafe… we only popped in for an ice cream and the service they offered my granddaughter who has Coeliac was first rate.. they had a large selection of flavours and even gluten free cones … a new ice cream tub was opened and fresh scoop without us even asking.. thank you for making her feel safe and special

Ate outside here for lunch. Food was lovely (sandwiches and chips), but 2 of the sandwiches came toasted for some reason. Strange layout inside the credit card machine is next to the door, so people queuing behind you have to move out of the way in order for you to pay this way. Outside tables were too small for 4 people eating. Crockery was not being tidied away very quickly outside and the light wind was whisking away all the menus and table numbers. visited this cafe last week. Was not sure if it was a cafe or ice cream parlour from the outside. went in , sign says please wait to be seated. I waited no one bothered with, or even acknowledged me, do s customer said just take as seat. I did , even then i had to go and ask for service. The two servers seemed fairly new, but ,seemed to be dominated by some young girl making the coffee. My server was pleasant and i am sure she could manage to put through a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea. The tea was weak, cheap tea bag, bacon sandwich i reckon on tesco wholemeal bread, with sauce slopped on top, which i did ask for. While searching for a place to have lunch, we decided to give this cafe located on the market square a try. The staff, all young people, were incredibly helpful, polite, and competent, truly representing their generation in a positive light. Arriving slightly early for lunch service, we started off with some cake, which included gluten-free options. We tried the "courgette and avocado" cake, which tasted similar to a delicious carrot cake (both gluten and dairy-free), as well as a traditional Victoria sponge that was equally delightful.
