Booked table for 7pm for family meal food arrived over 1hour was cold and not very appetizing children running around screaming will never go there again

a really nice meal and a fantastic pub. food was beautifully presented and came out quickly. the toilets were clean and the place was tastefully furnished. it has a big beer garden and pool tables if you are in for a drink with friends.

Wonderful place, beautiful and clean. Breakfast was nice and cheap. Staff nice! My only criticism is that the billiard tables over 18, my husband and 16 years old son regularly play pool in different pubs and this is the first time I came across this rule. Otherwise a very nice visit!

I wasn't there in a while, but what a great experience. The atmosphere was great, a warm and friendly greeting at the entrance. Menu selection is also very good for vegans. Simple order and food did not come long, hot and a plentiful plate, serving staff pleasant and helpful. Absolutely.

Ok place to come for a meal with family or friends if you want a low key last minute meal without pomp or fuss. Not a great place though, too loud, not a location where you can go for just a pint and a chat. Leans towards being a sports bar eatery and a function place. Too many kids running around.

Darleys (Part of the Hungry Horse chain) tries hard to be many things, but ends up being none. The food is acceptable, the staff are very good (albeit in a fast-food franchise manner), and the drinks are also good (but not special). It is overly child-friendly, but does redeem itself by having an over 18's area (although I've never consider pubs to be the sort of place to take children)

A fantastic pub with fantastic staff and beautiful food. I stay with my uncle in Hessle and always take the chance to visit if I can. It has a few billiard tables, a beautiful beer garden and full sky sports. Prices have risen somewhat, but for a good night is still a great value. Staff are always busy, but make the time to chat with customers and they feel welco. It is also worth noting that their burgers are 2 for the price of one on a Friday if you are looking for a lot.

Its a cheap and cheerful, Lively family pub with a good atmos that serves pretty good pub grub. The food is a little hit n miss but on a good night its good, even great for what you pay. If you want to go out for tea Darlys is perfect. If you wat to go out for a romantic ala-carte meal try somewhere else. As for the staff, a friendly happy bunch who I have never had any complaints about. It is what it is and does not preted to be anything else. Edit: Been twice since my first review and both times were just awfull. Staff were great but the chef has no idea what rare steak is. Last two times burnt. Its only steak and chips, if you cant get that right get back to washing pots. That is when you...

I haven't eaten here for years! It was a really nice atmosphere, I found a table without problems and asked an employee when it was for Coeliac 's. I got a tablet and after picking gluten, there was a list of meals I could eat gluten-free. From home staff to kitchen staff, the care they needed to ensure that there was no pollution was incredible! I felt so easy to eat my meal (brothered chicken), the beautiful cook brought it to my table, my cutlery was separated sanitized and I had absolutely no effect. My only little problem was the chicken, for me, was too wet and I didn't like the sloppy texture, it was taken back and instead of steaming it grilled and it tasted much better. I asked if I...
