"Dive used to be a typical sports bar, nothing special or memorable. However, they have recently transformed into a steak restaurant. The food is excellent, although the menu could use a few more options. The prices are on the higher side, but I didn't feel like I was overpaying. The overall dining experience was enjoyable, especially in the cozy heated outdoor area. The standout feature of Dive was the exceptional service. The waitstaff was attentive, professional, and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. It's rare for me to be impressed by service in a restaurant, but Dive surpassed my expectations. The food is good quality, though not cheap, so it's not a place to visit every week. However, it is worth it for a delicious meal and attentive service."

Been here a few times - and its not what you would call a "dive bar"First time was for a Yelp event and trying out some new things on menu.

I quite like Dive, even though the name kind of annoys me! When I think of Dive and a Dive bar, I think of grungy, dark and basic bars where not much care

I visited Dive twice in row, below are both experiences: Day One: Now Dive is odd before you've even entered, its almost like they don't want you to know View menu

The burger at this restaurant is huge, as are the desserts. Their happy hour deal on Monday, offering 55% off, is a great deal. I highly recommend this place. The manager was very friendly and helped us choose our dishes. Overall, a perfect 5 out of 5 experience.

Changed the menu which we didn’t realise but when we said we didn’t know it had all changed they gave us a free cocktail. Food was so good and the service was fast and really friendly the owner even came over at the end of our meal to chat which was nice. Will 100% be returning!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish. The entire staff is wonderful, the cocktails are fantastic, and the food is outstanding. I have never had a steak as tender and perfectly cooked as the one I had here. When you're craving a top-notch dining experience, this is the place to go! View menu

absolutely impressed by the norm at this bar recently. the outside seats are such a supplement to the new look, and the personal was the most attentive and unnoticed friendly of my party. the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect in view of the restrictions made by kovid., thanks for an excellent birthday. recommend the new look dive bar!

A surprisingly good place for sushi. Don 't come here expecting instant service like what you get in your typical sushi bar. But do come here if you want the best sushi in Manchester city centre. The service here is relaxed and a little bit chaotic but that just adds to the charm of the pleasant little restaurant area of this subterranean bar. Your mentality needs to be I fancy a few drinks and cracking food to go with it . If that is your expectation you 'll have a nice relaxing weekday evening. I will definitely be back to try the other things on the menu.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
