"Two. time still brilliant. ok, the prices are rising, but the tariff is worth it. to repeat the steak sandwich, it is huge, caramelized tweepers, lots of steak. I recommended it to my buddy (alan) and hoped it was as good as last year. fabulous he says (picky whispers, tomato and crumble) 2 meal times, 4 beers, 25 pfund. not too busy (lunchtime) and a bit out of the stretch, it is worth checking out. colorringdon tube. 3 mins 28 dez, 2012 the irrigation hole fabulous farewell. The onions are sweet and the steak is tender and packed with flavour (maybe a little too much salt).

The bar staff were friendly, quick and happy to make cocktails off-menu'. The food menu is limited to around twelve choices for main courses

Half the bar for an excellent wine list and real ales and the other half for the kitchen. Razor clams simply cooked and gutsy. Whole bream for me and a spot on kedgeree for Linda. There is nothing like this in Perth! Wonderful and we will return.

I side-stepped the famous steak sandwich in favour of a lasagne 9) which was extremely rich the ragu utilised a lot of red wine and was made with good quality mince. It was very unfussily presented and was simply served with wonderful homebaked bread.

Clerkenwell Favourite. We've been eating here for the last three years and still love the energy, drink selection, and open kitchen with its Med-African influences. A great gastropub in in a cool area of London. The pumpkin risotto when on the ever changing menu board is ne of the best in the city.

The Eagle itself is a rather shabby looking pub on Farringdon Road. It is credited with being the first ‘gastropub’ in that it started serving decent food, but was also a pub. By today’s definition of gastropub (all big fireplaces, kitchen and restaurant in the back, brass fittings) it wouldn’t really deserve such a title. It’s affiliated with Great Queen Street and the Anchor and Hope, which I hear are very good (and may need to go on the List) and their ex-cook has gone on to work at the Canton Arms which I know first-hand is fabulous. So it has a high food pedigree.

not interested. my friend and I are very excited that the eagle was recommended by friends. it was very busy as expected on a Sunday at 2 o'clock my friend I'm not precious, we understand that it takes time to serve, but my sadness is that when we were served, the attitude was more complete intolerance in relation to all asking about the menus that might explain ourselves, but we are obviously slightly thick. we left. in the defense of the young waitress she seemed to do the work of at least two or three people. the opposite in the did not recommend, especially if there are some great places not far that we have found.
