"Family of four + guest. The quality of Indian restaurants varies a lot, so we the adults, were guarded at first. Added to that Gruenwald has a pricey reputation, so we sheepishly looked at the menu. A nice welcome, a casual but very clean restaurant setting and a quick glance at the prices set us quickly at ease. We ordered a mixed starter and a mix of dishes, mostly lamb and chicken. We were very happy with the quality of the food. The meat was extremely tender and the flavours exploded in your mouth. Our two usually fussy kids were fighting over the Chicken Tikka!! I have no problem recommending this restaurant and we will certainly return... They also do take away."

"In den letzten Wochen bin ich soetwas wie ein Freund des Hauses geworden! Sophia und Vangelos sind wunderbare Gastgeber und immer da! Vermutlich seit Jahren! Natürlich ist es manchmal stressig für beide denn sie machen Service, Management und Sophia dazu noch Küche fast immer alleine. Dann kann es mal etwas dauern, aber dafür gibt’s warme Küche ja von 18-22 Uhr mindestens. Und bei der Küche ist Sophia kompromisslos! Fast alles was geht ist frisch und ich kann die Anmerkungen mancher anderer Rezensenten hier nicht verstehen, die etwas anderes wahrgenommen haben. Man sollte mal ein Melitzanosalata (Auberginen Püree) Vergleichsessen von allen Griechen in München machen, ich glaube das vom Santorini wäre bei weitem das einzige dass hohe Ansprüche befriedigt! Ich habe viele Griechen ausprobiert und hier ist das einzig wahre! Dann die Speisen sind immer bester Qualität in Zubereitung und Geschmack , es mag nicht immer 1a Kilometer 0 wollschwein glücklich geschlachtet sein? Aber frisch und gut ist es immer gewesen und ich war jetzt etwa zum 10ten mal hier! Dazu bedenke man, dass ein Abendessen mit einem halben Rotwein, Vorspeise und Hauptgang (Platte) mit 2 ouzo und kaffe meist weniger als 30 Euro p.p. Kostet! Mein Vater sagte immer, bei ausländischen Restaurants lasse man sich davon leiten ob auch Expts oder Touristen des jeweiligen Landes hier essen gehen; im Santorini ist es manchmal so voll mit Griechen dass es schwierig ist einen Tisch zu bekommen (Vangelos hat fast immer eine Lösung). Dazu ist das hier eine Stadtteil Versammlungsstätte und es gibt viele Vereine die hier regelmässig verkehren und zufrieden sind! "Dishonest Service and Poor Food Quality – Avoid This Restaurant I had a deeply disappointing experience with this restaurant during my recent visit to Munich. I ordered food for pick-up, expecting authentic and fresh Indian cuisine, but was utterly let down. The rotis they gave me were stale and nowhere near fresh. This is unacceptable, especially when catering to people who expect quality and authenticity based on the reviews. I am postings the photos of the rotis. Anyone can easily recognise which is a fresh roti and which is stale. The paneer dish I ordered was excessively spicy, completely overpowering the flavors. It felt like no care or thought had been put into preparing the food. What’s even more frustrating is how misleading the fancy reviews and glossy interiors are. Let me tell you, these do not reflect the reality of the food or service. I am going to share my review with all my colleagues at work and all my friends so that they don’t get fooled by the fancy reviews there are. Waste of money, there are not so fancy Indian restaurants in Munich which serves much better fresh food ."

"discovered by infestation - and immediately enthused: the dining room is very tasteful and modern (and thus stands out well from the many Asian restaurants). there is a large parking space and on the road further parking possibilities. the service consists of all-round young people who take care of their guests and very friendly. eating is great: high quality products are processed tasty. that for this harmonious total package of great location, tasty dining and friendly service the price level is a bit higher, is fully justified and because it is so beautiful here you must reserve beforehand."
