"My partner and I dined at this restaurant last night, and I personally believe it was the best Indian food I have had in years. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated at a table. We had purchased an Itison voucher (two courses for two people, with a choice of house red or white wine) which only cost us £17 total. The starters were beautifully presented and tasted delicious, setting us up nicely for our main courses. I chose the South Indian garlic chilli dish, while my husband opted for the Nepalese bhuna. Both dishes were flavorful and authentic. Since we had used an Itison voucher, we paid for the poppadoms and chutney before heading home to relax for the evening. Overall, I must say that for a restaurant that had just opened a few weeks ago, the service was friendly and the food was exceptional. Keep up the good work, Essence - we will definitely be back."

I dined at this restaurant with my friends last week. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. This is hands-down the best Indian restaurant in town! The King Prawn Tiger Curry was particularly outstanding. Sublime.
