"what a little jewel. fuji hiro is great, the lady has traveled about it for ever, but I have my first chance to try it yesterday. we were in the Merrion Central bowling and as usual I would encounter arse, although I a bit from the day only a 161 and a 130 bit bowling. fuji hiro is well pulled out of the way on wade lane and looks like it wasn't in a movie noir movie, very bleak and minimalist inside. only wooden, one bar at one end and the kitchen in the back. I love this kind of place as they know that it's all about eating and eating alone. it's a noodle bar, so they don't expect to find something too unusual on the menu, but make sure they get hungry here. I'm sure they wanted to kill me with my meal, the largest plate of spicy chicken men I've ever seen, the noodles that are coated in a sticky peanut and chili sauce. the chicken ramen came in a suitable large dish as well as with a deliciously subtle hearty broth with it and salat of bohnensprossen on the side."

the best sushi I had in Britain! fresh fish, well prepared sashimi. will return when I am in leeds. the noodles are good, but for me the sushi makes a difference. family business and not very expensive.

I was slightly disappointed by my yakisoba in that it wasn't piping hot, there was barely any chicken and the prawns were like those small frozen ones you can buy in supermarkets... I wouldn't be surprised if they were.

fantastic eating every time we visit all the time, they always come here. in the inner it is always well cooked and delicious. we love wagamama but prefer the authentic cooking here when in leeds. recommended they try the chicken katsu curry.

I absolutely loved the ramen and sushi at this restaurant. It was my first time trying Japanese food and I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this place. The prices are great too - you'll only spend about £10-15 per person and you'll leave feeling very full and satisfied with the delicious food and drinks. I really enjoyed my experience here.

the restaurant for 8 clock booked. the staff was friendly, so helpful and the place was very lively despite the recent difficulties in the pandemic. eating was delicious and the staff is very helpful. when I asked if the rugs were vegan, they told me that the udon are made with ice and so easily they changed for reisnudel. will definitely return! updated by previous review on 2020-08-31

last Sunday we wandered around the city, at a loose end, floated from the record store to the record store with nothing much to do. Finally we got hungry and stood outside jumbo records, unsafe what to do. leeds is blessed with a great restaurant scene. there are dozens and dozens of first-class places to go, but sometimes the choice that you feel like those times they are sitting in front of the television, trying to choose a movie to see from the thousands available, paralyzed by the choice.

I know it may be hard to believe, but I must say that this is truly the best Japanese restaurant I have ever experienced in my life. I have dined at many restaurants, but the quality and presentation of the dishes at this particular establishment far exceeded my expectations given the price range. The service was also exceptional, with a knowledgeable and efficient waiter who could speak multiple languages. I only wish I lived closer to Leeds so that I could visit this restaurant more frequently. It is rare for me to leave such a positive review, but I cannot deny the excellence of this Japanese restaurant.

What a little gem... Fuji Hiro is great, the lady has been raving about it for ages but I got my first chance to try it out yesterday. We'd been bowling in the Merrion centre and as usual I'd kicked arse despite having a bit of an off day only bowling a 161 and a 130 something. Fuji Hiro is tucked well out of the way on Wade lane and looks like it would not be out of place in a film noir movie, very bleak and minimalist inside. Just wooden tables, a bar at one end and the kitchen in the back. I love this kind of place as you know it's all about the food and the food alone. It's a noodle bar so don't expect to find anything too unusual on the menu but do make sure you come here hungry. I'm......

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
