"because of the many positive reviews, we have made it possible to go into the anker. From the outside inconspicuous, the beer garden unfortunately not beautifully prepared ( furniture!) and from the inside very rustic. rustic is not bad now, but we were surprised by the yet extraordinary deco: on the wooden shelves on the walls stacked cartons and packaged Christmas bags (we were here at the beginning!). Now yes, it can only go uphill. At the beginning we had a hugo which was either poured with white wine and not with secco (in the map stands secco) or even mixed with standing secco. it was missing from "Blubb".The map was ok from outside, unfortunately not so beautiful from inside. the sides are partially glued, the insert sheets were "lurred" by the printer. So, now eat: we had hoped more. The rumpsteak was good, the bratkartoffeln (sold separately) unfortunately did not fry or well and a tick too fat. the cordon bleu was good, but also here the critique point with the roasted potatoes. also the size is for this price unfortunately not consistent. Our service power was friendly and nice."

Unfortunately, we had to make the experience that our food was bad and the operators apparently did not take it so accurately with the hygiene.

it is a high-grade joy to enjoy a steak that brings an experienced man to the heart properly juicy dedication to the teller! 350g for him, 250g for the lady...exact so it may be!

we were there twice with friends. eat very good - rural-rustic, what we expect from such a hot house: price-quality fits, very friendly service. rustic dining room and beautiful freeseat under a beautiful old tree.

Had dinner here with friends that live in Germany. Being from South Africa wanted to try the local specialty and had the Gordon Blu with Brakkartoffellen and man was it worth it!!! Such a wonderful rustic old style pub. Good beer good food will definitely want to go back

eating is good, but the beer garden / outside area is so unspoiled and neglected that eating is stuck in the neck. the faith of the last years flies on the floor around. a bit of zigarette glut and there's a fire. also in the local area everything looks very neglected and unloved: pity

to the anker in speyer, a well-known institution. that we had liked the anker for a business meeting, proved to be a little problematic, because this evening the noise level rose in otherwise not so crowding heights, although the locality is always very well visited. also convince the wines to choose, in my case a giant. The service is extremely friendly and facing despite the high workload. So also I remain firmly anchored in the speyers anchor.

Bring cash! They don't take credit cards. We had the cordon bleu schnitzel, and it didn't disappoint! Hint - get the cream gravy. So good. My hubby got the rumpsteak. From American standards, it was tough and dry, even at a medium temp. He was happy my schnitzel was so big so he could have some! His potato noodles were fantastic! Our daughter was here a couple of years ago and had a great experience then, too. Good to know it is standing the test of time!

Einschenken muss man selbst.
