"This charming family-owned pub serves delicious home cooked meals. We especially enjoy their Sunday carvery and make it a point to visit every week. My son, who is autistic, can have difficulty in certain settings but he always feels comfortable at the Globe. The staff always go out of their way to make sure he is well taken care of and he particularly loves the Sunday carvery. Of all the places we have tried in Porthcawl for Sunday lunch, the Globe is his favorite. We have also attended their Sunday evening quiz and were impressed by their affordable selection of wines and beer. A visit to this pub is definitely worth it!"

I enjoyed a wonderful dining experience in Porthcawl while on holiday, and I visited this restaurant twice due to its excellent gluten-free options. I couldn't have asked for more. The service provided by Julie and Becky was outstanding. A big thank you to these ladies for making our meals feel extra special! xxx View menu

I had an excellent experience with both the food and service. I only wish I had spent some time at the bar, as it seemed fantastic! I also found the trough urinal quite interesting. I definitely plan to return and would highly recommend this place to others. Price per person: £10–20. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We came in for lunch today and we’re very pleased with our experience. Becky made both our group and our dog feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived, even providing a bowl of water for our pup. The food was fantastic and generously portioned. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a meal when you're in the area. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

I visited this restaurant for the second time, and I really enjoyed my meals. They have great options for both vegan and vegetarian diets, and they are dog-friendly, which is a big plus for me. I’m definitely planning to return! Today, my dogs even made friends with two children, and I would love to share some pictures, but I need to get the parents' approval first. View menu

We visited the globe Inn on our stay at Park Dean resort. The staff are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The drinks are reasonably priced. We ordered the sirloin steak with sides of peppercorn and onion rings. The food came out timely and was delicious. The staff checked everything was ok and they couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

We decided to have a last minute Sunday lunch and called ahead to make a reservation. The pub we went to had a car park on the side and was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the seating was comfortable with tables spaced at a good distance from each other. The carvery lunch we had was delicious, with a choice of two meats and all the usual trimmings. The cauliflower cheese and plentiful tasty gravy were included as well. The price was reasonable and we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. Highly recommended. Thank you.

"So came here last night 13th oct. 9 of us 2 of which 2 young kids. Had starter , calamari this was ok, sauce was nice. Main was lovely which was lasagne really quite tasty it came with chips which were nothing special if im honest, i ordered a side of garlic bread with it which was nice, The host was a nice guy very chatty, the staff seemed a little clumsy if im honest, just as we sat down a tray of drinks went down the back of my sister because the waitress wasn't looking what she was doing although accidents do happen so no biggy, although I will say nothing was offered! No extra drinks, a free starter, nothing!!! This brings me on to the cost. Not much beer choice at all, consisting of draught peroni which was are you sitting down) £6.50 a pint! So I ordered a bottle of bishops finger which i thought was a 500ml bottle, it didn't say on the menu the size of the drink which i think it should have, Well the bottle came and it was a 330ml bottle!! £4.70 for a 330ml bottle!!! im sorry but thats to much, come on guys. We all had a starter and a main with dessert each, i had the newyork cheesecake, which was ok but tasted abit like something frozen, didn't seem home made to me anyway. The Total bill came to just over £400!!! £60 of which was a service charge i was told by someone on the table, but the owner has now said that there was no service charge so if this is the case then i apologise), we were a decent size group but you know when you've gone somewhere and feel that the cost is just too much. Nice restaurant but too expensive imo."
