"When I first arrived in Barcelona, I was beyond excited to see an Indian vegetarian restaurant nearby. My first impression while walking inside was “It doesn’t smell like an Indian restaurant. Why isn’t there a spicy scent assaulting my senses?!?” I suppose that was my 1st clue that it wasn’t going to be what I expected. We ordered the Thali and an order of naan bread. My second warning was the thali came out quite quickly. Having eaten in many Indian restaurants stalls in many parts of the world, I’ve had my fair share of amazing thalis and all of the wonderful flavors, colors, and exotic dishes on one tray. This wasn’t it. The little dishes on the tray were ok, but nothing at all excited the senses, and there were 2 weird tomato dishes that did NOT belong on a traditional thali tray. Most of the food tasted as if it was prepared months in advance and was thawed and reheated on demand. The naan bread had oil on top, and did nothing to add flavor to the bread. I was quite surprised to see all of the high ratings as well as the glowing reviews. I can only believe they’ve never had an authentic Indian meal before, or they were being very generous with their reviews. I’m sorry to say, I wouldn’t go here again."
