It was definitely the most amazing brownie with salty caramel ice cream I ever had in my life... but if I have to be honest, the ribs were a bit dry for me as I am not used to having them smoked like this. This restaurant has a very relaxed and casual atmosphere, perfect for coming as you are. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich, and my friends split the ribs and said they were fantastic. It's a family-friendly restaurant and a great spot for dining with a group.

After running the Bath Marathon, we decided to have Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our large group, even when some of us were running late. They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was excellent. The food was delicious as well, with generous portions of roast dishes and burgers. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

We dined at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, with only five other tables occupied. The food was exceptional, top-notch quality. However, there was only one very friendly waitress on duty, causing the service to be quite slow. If you have time to spare and are not in a rush, then this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Really really good BBQ food. Would have been 5* 's but the points of perfection were missing, some handwipes post chicken wings, and..... A bowl for bones needed. Also, went to 2 tables which were both as crazy rickety as each other. BUT...... Food was very, very good! Staff really friendly, knew their food well! Kitchen staff happy to provide extra fried chicken which wasn 't on the menu, worth it. Burger was very moist and we 'll put together, good ratios. Cool decor and would definitely go again.

highly recommended. ignore negative comments. the gpt is under new management. the landdame and the personal offer excellent service. there are many drinks to choose from. the prices are excellent, they are just a few minutes away from the city center. the customers who go in are always so polite, I saw a previous review about chavvy. I think they must have gone to another place. if you want a friendly service and excellent prices, then go here. many thanks to all employees of the gpt. we will be back in the near future x

The food here really is outstanding, but on this visit the service definitely needed improving. Despite requesting a highchair when booking it took them a good 20 minutes to find us one, not good when you have a 1 yr old trying to crawl out the door. Had to order all drinks at the bar, ask for bill at bar, pay at bar, etc as most people seemed preoccupied with a large party in the other room. Saw another table sit patiently with their bill for 15 minutes with nobody coming to take payment so they eventually got up and paid at the bar too.
