we came for Sunday dinner after the bath marathon the staff were so friendly and accommodating for our big group some who were too late. nothing was too excellent! and eating was delicious to huge roasts and megaburgers. Thank you!

Very relaxed, come as you are atmosphere. The food was excellent and plentiful. I had the chicken sandwich that was very delicious. Burger was good and friends share the ribs and loved them. Family friendly and great place for a group.

The staff were friendly and when the food eventually arrived it was tasty. However we had to wait 45 minutes for starters and then Nother 30 mins for main and when our mains arrived they were incorrect orders. Plus they charged £28.95 for a bottle of prosecco. Would not go back.

We ate on a Sunday afternoon, there were only about 5 other tables occupied. The food was excellent, first class. But there was only one (very friendly) waitress and the service was really slow. So if you are not in a hurry (we weren't, but the delays were really noticeable) then definitely eat here, but if you go somewhere else.

this is the 4th time we have visited the green park tavern and have always loved it food has been amazing but on this occasion the chicken, on the Sunday roast had a funny taste( we were told it was smoked) but still didn't taste right we complained but we're only given 30% of our money back,which I thought was a bit strange.also it's quite pricey for the amount your given( no good if your a big eater) and drinks are a appalling price I hope they read this and maybe it will improve.

Booked this restaurant for an anniversary meal and loved the food. Burger type menu but done in a 'cheffy ' manner, well presented, slightly different ingredients and very tasty. The staff were all very polite and friendly and reasonably attentive. Only downside was the restaurant is quite big and while one side of the restaurant was very busy we were away from everyone else in the aisle from the front door to the toilets. A couple of other diners were at there too but I don 't recall any music being played and so we felt there was a lack of ambience. Would definitely recommend and happily return perhaps with some friends though!

The food here is really excellent, but during this visit the service definitely needed improvement. Despite the request of a high chair when booking, it took them well 20 minutes to find us, not good if you try a 1 yr old to crawl the door. Had to order all drinks at the bar, ask for bill at the bar, pay at the bar, etc., as most people seemed preoccupied with a big party in the other room. Another table sit patiently with their bill for 15 minutes, with no one coming to take payment so that they finally got up and also paid at the bar.
