Fabulous food and service. We recommend the steak burger. Delicious. Great menu. Plenty to choose from. Nice ambience in a traditional country pub. Very welcoming.

Lovely dinner in the bar on a Saturday night fish special gurnard with samphire and really good English breakfast in the morning. Room compact, clean comfortable and nice bathroom.

We arrived at 2.20 and the staff were really happy to serve us lunch despite it being fairly close to kitchen closing. They were so helpful and polite and the kids meals were really family friendly.

Our visit was for dinner, an overnight stay and breakfast, to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We found a lovely welcome, excellent food, well kept beer and great service. We did have a little issue with our accommodation but I have to say the customer service was first rate, with a prompt response/resolution. I’d say that you can’t ask for more. Lastly I’d like to say that it’s thoroughly cleaned too; a definite plus in my book. We are very much looking forward to our next visit and have already recommended this place to friends and family.

Our annual stay at a nearby chain hotel was not possible this year because of a refurbishment and what a stroke of luck because it enabled us to discover the wonderful Greyhound Inn. For the same price we enjoyed a lovely beautifully decorated room with a fabulous view instead of a bland generic room with a view over the car park, A fabulous cozy restaurant with amazing food instead of a brightly lit airport lounge style restaurant, and finally an amazing cooked to order breakfast delivered to our table instead of a slightly overcooked buffet breakfast. We have found our new annual overnight stop!
