"We often visited this restaurant when the whole family were vegetarians and it was a family favourite. After I decided to try veganuary I wanted to give havet a go as a vegan. There are a few options on the menu highlighted as vegan which is great but I was made to feel quite awkward when I asked if they could make various dishes vegan. For instance their side orders of spicy rice and mixed fried mushrooms. Not sure why the rice would not be vegan as it stated it was cooked in vegetable stock or why they couldn’t just fry the mushrooms in oil but I was made to feel very uncomfortable by even just asking. Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely worth a visit something for everyone, great atmosphere and service just stick to what’s on the menu and don’t enquire about what’s actually in the food!"

Quite a lot of vegan stuff on the menu and though it is a bit predictable as a chain restaurant, the food is yummy for what it is! Worth a visit

I, my man and some friends went to lunch. the vegan and veg options are all clearly listed on the menu. my man had the sweetheart he had enjoyed. I shared a few Meze dishes with my friend who were all beautiful. the real knock was the imam bayildi, they offered to make it vegan for me (without feta) and it was completely exquisite. I would recommend to anyone who made imam bayildi vegan. soou good. if I'm in the opposite next time.

Me, my husband and some friends went for lunch. The vegan and veg options are all listed clearly on the menu. My husband had the vegetable shish which he enjoyed. I shared some meze dishes with my friend all of which were gorgeous. The real knockout was the imam bayildi, they offered to make it vegan for me (without feta) and it was totally exquisite. I would recommend anyone try the imam bayildi made vegan. Soooo good. Going back next time I'm in the area.

Top tip download their app and you will get £5 off your bill. I recommend the falafel, hoummous and flatbread, tagine and sweet bulgar. The hoummous and falafel wrap off the lunch menu is also good. I am yet to try the dolmades but I imagine they are good. Very flavoursome and generous portions. The staff are friendly too. I think it could be improved with a vegan dessert on the menu (not ice cream or sorbet). Also, the vegetable shish is not worth the amount of money, when you look at the cost of a side, you are essentially paying £11 for some chopped veg. Updated from previous review on 2022 08 03

we often visited this restaurant when the whole family were vegetarian and it was a family lover. After I decided to try vegan, I wanted to give a swallow as a vegan. there are a few options on the menu highlighted as vegan that is great, but I was made to feel quite uncomfortable when I asked if they could make different dishes vegan. for example, their side orders of spicy rice and mixed fried mushrooms. not sure why the rice wouldn't be vegan as it said it was cooked in herbal consisted or why they could not only freeze the mushrooms in oil, but I was made to feel very unpleasant by just asking. do not misunderstand me, it is definitiw a visit something worth for all, great atmosphere and...
