I can't believe it has been open for 15 years and I had never heard of it before. The staff and owner were lovely and very attentive. Very expensive. Ordered a diet coke and it was mainly ice. Ordered a second Diet Coke without ice and received half a glass! Very poor. No atmosphere.

The moment you enter, you are greeted with exceptional service. The steaks and sides are cooked to perfection, and the biltong is delicious. The wine selection is top-notch.

Outstanding food, as usual, coupled with superb fine wine. We had the Stellenbosch scotch egg and beef tartar to start, followed by steaks, chips, creamed spinach and vegetables. Finished off with a plate of cheese and a hefty bill, but it was worth it!

I recently tried the Stellenbosch Scotch Egg at this restaurant and it was fantastic! It's a unique twist on the classic runny scotch egg. The steak was also delicious as always and paired well with a 2012 Jordan Prospector Syrah for International Syrah Day.
