"Popped in for a drink recently. I counted 8 members of staff wandering around, whilst I waited by myself at the bar for 10 minutes. When I was eventually served the attitude was surly and unfriendly. This is a typical example of a brewery owned pub in a beautiful location, who just don't bother trying very hard. Next time I'll go to the Cove Pub instead. Service: 2 Location: 5"

Every year, we visit Hope Cove with friends, and this time there were nine of us, including five kids. The staff at the pub were fantastic, and the food was as excellent as always. I highly recommend this pub—100%! Service: 5 Location: 5
