"not write in the rule one for critique, but simply here for an impromptu lunch on the way to home from a weekend. so a secret, quirky pub in the inner, and we received a beautiful (and real) welcome. eating is very cheap, and the top of the bark was perfectly cooked. dinner was absolutely beautiful and I can't recommend it enough. the only negatiw I can find (and really, really, to do this) would it be pretty nice to have background music? but after we have said that we are looking in the booking to stay here in the future, so this was not a big problem!"

Came here for lunch Tuesday after a walk round Fewston reservoir. Food was excellent and friendly service. Lovely place with wood burning fire! Definitely recommend and will be returning

the funnel lane hotel is warm and invites to eat and drink is excellent best burger and chips iw had in the old my little boy loved the fish and chips also on the way to home and try them something else on the menu

Called in for Sunday lunch today. It was the best pub lunch I've had in years. I had the roast dinner which was absolutely delicious and the rest of the group opted for the meat pie which was equally as good. Highly recommend!

What a lovely welcoming and smart pub. We went for a family meal so I had my 3 year year old son and they were fab with him! Very friendly people, felt very chilled and relaxing and fab food food to go with it with an extra value for money and plates full of homemade food! Will definitely be returning
