We had one night in Murnau and locals recommended this restaurant to us I can only say thank you as this was the best we could do Very nice tasty food in a nice atmosphere Good choice of vegetarian and normal Italian food

There are many Italian restaurants around the place, but this is definitively the best choice. Hard to say if I ever get more value for the price, the staff is friendly, the food a dream and also the choice of vines is great.

I highly recommend Il Duetto. I have eaten here twice in the last 2 years and the consistency of the service, the food quality and the setting are outstanding. The food is prepared very well and the menu gives all diners many options to choose. I will dine here again.

The pizzas are huge! Locals obviously knew this as no-one else ordered one for lunch. But we had also ordered a tuna salad, so shared the two dishes and were still unable to finish. It was a busy, small restaurant but the service was good and the prices very reasonable.

I had a late dinner here with a friend upon a recommendation of a local colleague. And we didn't regret. This place serve excellent Italian food: very tasty pizza on very thin dough, great fish mix plate and excellent carpaccio (both salmon and beef). I can only recommend this restaurant! View menu

Lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked. Friendly staff even on a very busy night. Advised us not to order to many starters due to their size and the size of the main courses. Just as well as one bruschetta starter feed 3 of us and we were going to order 3! Huge and tasty pizzas. Happy family of well fed boys at the end of the night.

Walking up through a busy street with people standing in line for ice cream, filling terraces, but oh boy were we glad we walked all the way to Il Duetto. The food was outstanding, the service friendly and personal. We were surprised by a very friendly price at the end as well. We would recommend this place to everyone visiting Murnau.

We have been at that place a few times now. The menu is pretty large and the food ranges from basic to great (specially when you know that you are away from town!). Ask for non-nutrion or lactose or gluten free if you need it, and lots of vegetarian food is offered too. The staff is friendly (hey, they are italians :-)). The Pizza is made ia a wood oven. The wine menu is good too. The restaurant renovated and centrally located. Food is offered 7 days from 11 a.m. to around midnight (also unusual). If you need a table book before you arrive.
