"Went as party of six for dinner. This place was jam packed at 0730, prior booking is recommended if you don’t like waiting there for people to get up. Pretty loud due to crowd We order grill platter and salmon tikka, papads, lamb keema, butter chicken, shahi paneer, dal makhani and butter naan, pilau rice and gulab jamun with ice cream Salmon tikka is worth a try as it just dissolve in your mouth with right spices and grilled.. Grills Well personally I am not a. Big fan of grill platter as first thing is smoke which is like makes me uneasy. But that just me … Chicken tikka was good but could have been better. The rest I ddi not share but it does comes with seekh kababs and lamb shanks.. Now the best part I must say was the mains. Dal makhani i missed it how we use to have it in India . And yesterday I did tasted the dal which reminded me of the authentic taste. (Loved it) Lamb keema was really nice and lamb was cooked to perfection. Butter chicken was good as per my son as he is the big fan of the curry. Pilau Rice were good and so though butter naan’s Not sure of shahi panner as did not had a chance to eat that as was too full. Gulab jamun Don’t eat sweet so I guess it might have been good as the guys were like getting to grab another one Parking is good however do not forget to register your car to avoid the fine later. Overall experience was really good and had good time spent with friends"

Chicken starter was raw, vegetable curry had not been cooked fresh and it was apparent, (potato was rubbery, curry was been pre cooked and microwaved, rice was dry and liked as though just been microwaved.

For the price and convenience this was all OK, I would go with a bunch of friends but not if I wanted a quiet night or high end cuisine. Good menu and service, this restaurant is designed to move volumes of customers through in an efficient manner with reasonable food.

We visited the new branch in Spon End since there was 11 off us the food was excellent, and the service was great. The place wasn't that busy for friday night due only opened beginning of july. The Waitress Marie was very pleasant and polite. the bar staff were very accommodating as well.

Went with a friend. Shared a Boneless Grill, masala chips, lamb Jalfrezi and a fish curry with paratha and garlic naan. The food was excellent and portions were more than enough. We went early evening and it started to fill up fairly quickly. It seems quite popular. Would definitely re-visit. All other grill Restuarants will be compared to this going forward. Highly recommend this establishment.

Parking right outside, make sure you put your number plate in at the bar to avoid a fine. Inside it looks tired , can do with a modern refurb. Mixed grill is ok, kebab tastes nice but I noticed most of the staff don’t smile. We asked one of the waiters to take some of our plates away and he replied I am by myself what do you expect me do to!!! No need to be rude. Food is nice, the waiters need to take more pride in their work and be polite.

My daughter wanted try the Khushi for a change from our usual takeaway what a BIG mistake. We ordered two chicken tikka jalfrezi two chicken tikka balti, rice breads, all the Currys taisted exactly the same, tasteless watery rubbish !!!! The chicken pieces tough and hard to chew. We were told that our order would be Ready to collect in 10 to 15 minutes ,this raised alarm bells at once. We should have known better at this point, needless to say we shall not be returning. Buyer beware !!!!

Recently changed from Railway to Kushi, this is my second visit. First time found my curry highly spiced, and thought it was my own fault for choosing wrong. Went again today and actually requested my prawn curry to be mild, the man on the food counter said that would be a problem, when the curry came it was that spicy I had to leave half of it. Service has changed as well, now you have to find a table, order drinks at the bar and food at a kitchen hatch. It’s very disjointed. The food was served really quickly, again this makes me think that it’s not freshly cooked to order.

Well I've been coming to the Railway for a while and it's been sold to Khushi Grill. I've come in a few times and ordered different curries and some have been good. However if you order anything lamb you are in for a bad experience. So the last two times I ordered keema rice to receive very little keema in the rice. So today I changed the keema rice but ordered a keema nan, the nan had zero meat inside and looked liked someone had paint brushed some colouring on it. I asked to speak to the owner and challenged him about the lack of keema in my nan which I kept back to show him. He agreed it was poor and offered no refund, but offered a Free nan next time, free ? I never got what I paid for t...
