"The king charles is always a good spot to go and enjoy a midweek drink out in the lovely beer garden and a great lively place for your weekend evening entertainment which is always very much enjoyed! The past two visits I’ve also tried out some food from the menu which I couldn’t fault at all. Wednesday I took a visit with a friend to take them up on their 2 for 1 special burger offer, 2 burgers with chips a coleslaw for £13, what a bargain! The burgers were cooked perfect as were the chips and the coleslaw tasted amazing too! After me and my friend enjoying our burgers so much I decided to take another visit for a Saturday lunch with my partner, I had the sirloin steak with fries, beer battered onion ring and a rocket and Parmesan salad, again it was lovely with the steak being cooked exactly as I asked for and very tasty! My partner had a Greek salad with seasoned fries which she was also very pleased with, we both left with smiley faces and full tummies, we will be back again! Thanks to the friendly and welcoming team at the King Charles!"

Great pub, good selection of beers, friendly staff and great music. Very dog friendly too, which is a bonus. The outside area however, was disappointing, very dirty with cigarette butt's everywhere.
