"I'm not sure if others have had a similar experience, but I recently found myself waiting patiently at the bar to place an order while two barmaids chatted and emptied glasses from the washer, completely ignoring me. I was left standing there, listening to their conversation, with no sense of urgency or care for customer service. Meanwhile, another customer who approached the bar further down was served immediately. This wasn't my first encounter like this. The gentleman who usually tends the bar is attentive and takes care of customers, but unfortunately, these girls do not. I'm very disappointed and won't be returning."

The food was abundant and delicious. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this pub/restaurant to others.

Really nice pub, big outdoor area, some seats under an awning with heaters, dog friendly. Beer was great well poured and conditioned ale. Food was also really nice, but we only had sandwiches. A hidden gem

Had lunch here today. The food was spot on and a great price! The service was excellent and a great selection of real ale. The beer garden is perfect to spend a summers day! Would definitely recommend and will be back soon! View menu

I enjoyed a delightful meal with my family on a Sunday. The food was flavorful, and the portions were generous. A charming addition is their offering of dog dinners, though they’re more suited for smaller dogs. Still, they're very reasonably priced, so it’s not a problem!

This is my local pub and I went for lunch with 4 old school friends. Staff are friendly and like dogs which is very important as one of our group has a dog. Water and nibbles were available free of charge. Food was good and very reasonably priced. All round an excellent experience.

Another beautiful place, a traditional pub with a very spacious garden behind. Menu with many typical dishes, huge vine list. There are two parts of the garden. One right when you get through the door and another a bit further on your left. I definitely recommend to use the further one. The first part is usually taken by regulars and outsiders wouldn't feel comfortable. View menu

Wednesday evening snack Got to the kings head about 7 just wanted a drink and a starter Saved quickly at bar and ordered a lobster and sea food cocktail. Had to wait a while and then served by a lovely man but obviously under a great deal of pressure I asked him how many staff were on and he sort of laughed and said he was extremely busy not enough work for. My food was good. Thank you.

On Wednesday evening, I stopped by for a light snack and ordered the King's Head. I just wanted a drink and a starter, so I quickly settled at the bar and chose the lobster and seafood cocktail. There was a bit of a wait before I was served by a handsome waiter, who seemed to be under a lot of pressure. When I asked him how many staff were working that night, he chuckled and said they were extremely busy and didn't have enough help. Overall, my food was good.

"We three gluttoneers invaded this delightful eatery to celebrate my wife 's, Angela 's birthday last Tuesday night, and it was better than great. We were welcomed into an inviting ambience of romantic lighting, light tiles and coloured walls, and shown to our favourite window table. Amidst the polite murmer of chat and laughter from diners already there, and the lovely background music, accompanied with a perfectly concocted Aperol Spritz and a Pornstar Martini, we made our selection from a varied menu, especially when you include their specials ' board. James, the proprietor extraodinaire, and the others made us feel right at home with the banter and laughter great. We soon made our selection. All three of us went for the Mango al Granchio; Nino 's do the best this side of Essex. There followed Involini Pescatrice, Saltimbocca Romana. and Linguini Gamberoni; all were faultlessly prepared and presented, and the flavour was astounding. This culinary perfection was baptised with a chilled Prosecco, and it truly woke your palate up. We then concluded this gastronomic extravaganza with a shared Apple Pie and ice cream with a surprise candle and team Nino 's singing 'Happy Birthday ' with their quirky horn wonderful. We finished off with a lemon tea, black Americano, Cappuccino, and black Sambucas plus complimentary ones from our gracious hosts grazie mille! Yet again, Nino 's have raised the benchmark in cuisine excellence, friendship, and laughter. Our compliments to the chefs in the 'hot room ' for their artistry and kind attention, and a huge 'thank you ' to all at Nino 's for an uplifting dining and birthday experience. Until the next time, keep smiling and be happy, ciao."
