La Brasserie de La Mediterranee

We ordered the calamars for the entrances, the truffle oil lobster and shrimp risotto for the dish and a vanilla pie for the deaert and it was absolutely divine and beautifully presented. for our group of 4 without alcohol, it was 128 euros or 30 euros odds per person. I have nothing to say about dishes, service, atmosphere or presentation.

We had the chance to have a table at our first night in mugins. it is very frequented by the inhabitants and the holidaymakers, which is always a good sign. The service was friendly even if it was a very busy and busy night. We all loved our food. the waiter recommended a good wine at a reasonable price and some of us had excellent cocktails before eating. We will certainly book on our return next year.

the first impressions are those of a large street café that could offer quick restoration, but you are mistaken! it is a fairly large restaurant according to the norms of mougin in the center overlooking the small greenery of the village. the reception was friendly and the service excellent without being pressed. food was above the average - we had lobster ravioli and a shrimp risotto and both were of superior quality. this restaurant was very close to being excellent but a mediocre service and a lack of respect for their customers dropped them. We ordered food and wine that took 20 minutes to arrive. It doesn't bother me to wait a bit when I take a drink to enjoy it. However, the potatoes with my wife's sole are cold and when they brought replacements, she had finished the fish. I asked to see the manager but he/she didn't come to the table. I was told this place would be really good - so my parents and I decided to try. Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed - nothing was very bad, but - nothing was great. We were offered a free gaspacho to start (size sofas), which I personally did not appreciate, but it was a beautiful gesture. I'm sorry we chose this place last night. on the 8 dishes my husband and I had between us, the only tasty piece was. wine. Well, dessert too. I opted for the tasting menu and all my 3 seafood dishes consisted of mixing a lot of different tastes, which was in no case beneficial to the main sea product. we are regular visitors of mugins and dinner normally in other restaurants and thought to try this one. We were the first guests at 12:00 and we were looking forward to a good lunch. Well started with our request for two glasses of champagne and menus, then everything deteriorated from there. After about 30 minutes, a waitress maussade came to ask us what we wanted and we placed our order, by coincidence the most expensive item on the menu. the waitress looked at us and reprimanded - "not sure you can get it" walking to the kitchen, coming back after a while saying okay as if she had negotiated a favor for us.
