"Dopo diverso tempo lontani da Pallanza siamo tornati , per pranzo, in questo ristorante, sito in una delle vie centrali della cittadina ed ospitato in una graziosa corte . L' interno si caratterizza per la presenza di specchi, di diverse forme e dimensioni, che donano al locale un tocco originale. Ci è piaciuta l' idea di servire vari tipi di pane nelle cassette di legno dei vini. L' ambiente, ben riscaldato, è piacevole e rilassante. Il servizio cortese ed accogliente. Anche lo chef ama passare tra i tavoli per scambiare impressioni con i commensali. Si tratta di una ristorazione slow food e pertanto se avete fretta non è il locale adatto. La proposta culinaria non è molto varia ma gustosa e le porzioni molto abbondanti. Noi abbiamo ordinato gli gnocchi preparati in casa e conditi , uno con un sugo piemontese preparato con quattro tipi di pomodori dal gusto leggermente dolce, l' altro, dal gusto più intenso, con funghi porcini e salsiccia . Apprezzati anche i secondi in particolare il brasato alla piemontese accompagnato da una morbida polenta gialla. Anche i dolci , strudel di mele e tortino caldo al cioccolato, sono risultati di nostro gradimento. Torneremo di sicuro."

"We had dinner on the ground floor yesterday, nice but a little dark. Choice according to positive reviews, also because we always look for quality food. What to say, the quality is not lacking but is not exceptional and with what you pay little would miss to make it such. The risotto with cacio and pepper was not as tasty as I would have guessed, perhaps because the fresh red shrimp has anything else flavor. Good the two cutters of cheese and sliced but, considering the quantity, 17 euros the one seem excessive especially for that of cheeses where it is really small tastes. Too much gap between quantity and costs. Portions that should be reviewed for both first and second. I am used to gourmet cuisine but besides a nice view there is also a good taste. Another lack of the request of 4 euros (16 for us that we were in 4) for a non-existent covered since you eat directly on the wooden table (see photo). The portions of sweets should also be revised, such as the cost of digestives: 21 euros for 4 tastings. At the same cost I ate in more qualified restaurants. I suggest to improve the price quantity proportion, because a satisfied customer does not mind how much he spends!"

"Siamo stati due volte a cena in questo locale in una stretta via di Pallanza. Sia il nome che la collocazione possono ingannare: l'ambiente interno (con pergolato che dà possibilità di cenare fuori è assai carino, con giusto distanziamento; il menù è costituito da piatti di carne e di pesce veramente gustosi e preparati con cura. Il semifreddo alla grappa da applausi (x chi ama la grappa ovviamente). Scelta di vini ampia a prezzi non esosi e con varie etichette locali/piemontesi.Molti complimenti ai due giovani gestori. Se ripassiamo di qua torneremo sicuramente."

"I've already been probably 10 times and I will go another 100! Set in an authentic Italian style scene, the staff are very friendly and the food is sublime. As I've been more than once, I can say that its not just a one off. The continuity of the service and the quality of food is the reason I keep going back!"

"It is not the first review, but we have had lunch so well to confirm our choice. the place is always very nice cozy, I appreciate all the details, the view of the lake is lovely. very helpful staff and I love the owner's passion in explaining his dishes and raw materials carefully chosen. prices absolutely in line with the quality of food and service. I had a particular desire to asparagus and the owner fulfilled my desire preparing a great risotto in the form of Parmesan! I did not in time to photograph the appetizers, devoured, spectacular the tartare of beef with scales of chestnut and mayonnaise to the hazelnuts of Piedmont !!! plaused to the local salami served with the honey of the owner !!! my son appreciated the hornets of veal Cut of razor to melt in the mouth and the divine dessert, soft dark chocolate and caramel and strawberries with grated eye zabaione regarding the wine list. I can't wait to get back, sooooolto interesting the menu of San valentino."
